This was a back up plan… restaurant Who wanna Pho wasn’t allowing kids past a certain time. So we came here bc we felt like it was authentic Thai cuisine. Also bc we love some good sushi! Once we walked into the establishment, there was a woman in the front that looked disappointed that we were there (energy never lies). I’m sure it was a busy night or entire weekend for the store, but no excuses to making a customer feel unwelcome. The server was full pleasant and was actually the saving grace. We all got different things from the menu. The spring rolls are a miss (tastes a lot like grease), the wanton soup was nice and hot the dumplings were perfect! The steamed rice wasn’t the best very gritty… the beef was a bit too tough for me… my family enjoyed their food. My sister is a vegetarian and asked for no meats in her dish and it wasn’t properly prepared so she had to send it back. We weren’t able to order no sushi (they were not cooking any) also said the orders were backed up. There is also a service charge for dine in… which made me really regret visiting!

Absolutely LOVE Thai 5! Great food, great people, great vibes.
Special shoutout to the waitress in a D.R.M.E.R.S hoodie tonight. She had to deal with an absolute obnoxious table who went from complaining they weren’t making mixed drinks to “can we try something on the menu” not order… try. She kept her cool even though every time she came to their table they said “took you long enough” or “thought you’d never come” she’s a real one.
Please keep this in mind and be nice to your waiters ♡

Papaya salad was tasty but pretty spicey. The curry we split had a delicious coconut based sauce but the beef was a little tough. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was decent but the entry way is a long bare hallway that could be improved. Service was very good though – friendly and fast staff.

Worst thai food I’ve ever had. My pad see ew was completely flavorless, it tasted like they threw noodles, vegetables, and eggs into a pot of water and boiled it without even adding salt. When I asked if I could swap out my dish for another, I was denied. You’d think the customer experience and restaurant reputation would be more valuable than a plate of noodles. Won’t be coming back. They should take out the “Pad See” and just call this dish “Ew.”

I was over in this part of town getting a haircut. I started walking around looking for some food and this place caught my eye.
The inside is unique and gives you the feel as if you’re dining in New York or something . You walk down a little alley and then up some stairs and before you know it you’re in a beautiful scenic well decorated restaurant.
I got the Pad Thai lunch special bento box! The pad Thai was delicious the bean sprouts, the eggs, the chicken, the noodles, the sweetness, it was perfect the soup the sushi roll the nigiri that came with it! so delicious!

Food was good but they should be ashamed of themselves charging $1.50 for this little side of sauce. First one at least should be free and maybe $.25 for extras at that size.
Also a bit disappointing this is their their sweet Thai chili sauce. I’m used to a thicker sauce. Then the fact that it’s so thin and doesn’t really go much ways because of that makes the sauce size/price even worse

10/10 service, had $3 Capt Morgan shots and it was very chill. Only came for the bar area, so I would not be able to speak for the food part. Would return again if I’m in the area and need a shot/beer.

Came in for a quick bite – we had already eaten dinner elsewhere. The reason we came was for dessert – I really like mango sticky rice and wanted to try theirs! I did like it, it had nice balance of flavors. I’m still most partial to Ruby Chows mango sticky rice, but this was a good runner up.
My husband got the spring rolls for a snack and didn’t care for it.he was disappointed they didn’t have spicy mustard. He said he wouldn’t come back.

Another first time visit but will have to add it to the rotation. The sushi was amazing so fresh and flavorful. My family ordered the basil lamb but they demolished it before I could get a pic. I got to taste the lamb and it was so tender definitely ordering that dish next time. The basil chicken was so good. The chicken fried rice was good too. Definitely check this spot out

I absolutely love the food at Thai 5! The prices are great, the portions are generous, and the quality is always delicious and consistent. Every meal I’ve had here has been full of flavor and perfectly prepared. It’s one of my favorite go-to spots for amazing Thai food at a great value!
