The BEST pizza place in the area, hands down. They serve thin crust, New York style pizza, and it’s delicious. I have been going to them for the past 6 years, and they don’t miss. Their flavors are so unique, sometimes they can sound odd, but I promise, they always make it work and it tastes amazing. They have 2 specials everyday and they rotate them (pesto bango is my all time favorite).This is a great spot to pop in for lunch or quick dinner grab a slice or 2 and it’ll only cost you about $5 per slice (they are large slices).
A couple tips: There isn’t a ton of seating inside so could be difficult if you have a large group. If you want to order whole pizzas, you have to call in advance and secure your time slot that you want to pick them up. Located in the quaint downtown of Merced, the little oven is dishing out the only New York style pizza in a 60 mile radius. Personally drove from Fresno to try it because somebody mentioned it on social media and I’m glad we did. It is quite good. Pizza is super thin. The undercarriage is cooked great and there’s no flop at all.

It’s definitely worth trying if you’re looking for something adventurous and unique.
Service: The service was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful, understanding, and made great recommendations. They were attentive and genuinely seemed to care about giving us a great experience, which added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.
Ambience: The ambience is more like a bar vibe—relaxed but with a lively energy. It’s a nice space to hang out, but it can get pretty noisy, especially during peak hours, so it might not be the best place if you’re looking for a quiet dinner. However, the overall feel is pleasant, and the atmosphere adds to the experience.

The food, the people who work there, the vibes – phenomenal! I love how every day they have a different type of red and white sauce. I’m honestly so surprised of how much I love some of their flavors that I never thought I would go for. Who would have thought that putting broccoli on a pizza would taste sooo amazing?! Their Sun King, Broc, Rucola, and so many more that I can’t remember all of their names – all sooo good. I’ve been here wayyy too many times to count now. Always tastes amazing!

Good place if your looking just for a slice or two. The place inside is a bit small inside but have the option of outside tables. Limited options per slice but if you get a pie you can customize it. The pizza was good with thin layer of crust but a bit oily. If all you want simple pizza by the slice this is the place in Merced.

Update: Came back again while driving through and just as the first time nothing but the best! The employees handled our big order perfectly and although they missed one of our orders they were quick to fix and even gave us a free slice. I love this place! My mom came for the first time and said it’s the best pizza she had! I tried both of the specials and I was just as amazed as the first time. I’ll be a customer for life now!

We got pepperoni and sweet heat! Both delicious and hot and crispy and perfect! We’ll be back just for this pizza. The new employee training was super sweet and even asked how everything was after. My sister said the hot honey ranch was also freakin good!
