Food is OK. But if you order ahead you will have to wait a long time even after it says it is ready. I ordered a cheese pizza with spinach and ended up without spinach. I wouldn’t be surprised if this place failed Health violations several times. One of the lady’s always looks passed off. Need better managers.

While the people are nice who are serving you here and the eating area is clean, istg this food has given me food poisoning to my friend and I, I don’t know if it’s a worker not washing their hands while making food or the pre made meals just being packaged wrong but I have never felt worse in my life I couldn’t stop throwing up and missed my first class this morning. ☹️ Please don’t eat here, and if you do at least don’t go here on school nights.

It wasn’t my intention to come back, but a friend wanted to meet me here and the food was pretty good, since then I have been back a few times and I can safely say they have fixed the issues they had previously. I was even brave enough to order the notorious macaroni and cheese and there was no plastic in it this time, and above that, it tasted great! Some items are still a little expensive for what you get though.
My older review for context (originally 2 stars): The food and service is incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes it is pretty good, other times it is straight up terrible. I have gotten pieces of plastic in my Mac and cheese at one point. Still it is really a gamble, 40% of the time it is fine 60% it is really bad. It is also expensive for what you get. The only benefit of the place is how close it is to the dorms. I won’t be coming again.

Fish
Nice just for hanging out. Atmosphere is nice. Lots of seating available and it has outdoor seating by the water available as well. The food is pretty awful. However, the Starbucks and gelato section is good but a little pricey. Irritated that is is closed over the summer but I suppose demand is too little to keep it open.

The food could be better for the price, but it’s part of FGCU’s Campus and Dining, so there’s not much expectations for improvement. The environment is pretty great though! They have different seating arrangements to choose from, multiple TVs, and music occasionally playing. They also have an outdoor area, though I’m not sure if that’s the Boardwalk’s or FGCU’s. Great hangout spot but I wouldn’t come here for ✨ good ✨ food (lol it’s fine for college students though).

Staff here, especially the lady at the register, seemed annoyed to serve me. Nasty faces and bad attitude the whole time. My friend and I ordered two smoothies and a salad, to which the girl at the register told her coworker “I’m just gonna walk out”. I understand having a bad day (I work in customer service) but this was really unprofessional.

The Board Walk resturaunt on campus has great potential to be so much better than it currently is. I understand that this is the start to the semester, but somethings gotta change quick.
Expect to wait 20+ minutes regardless of what you order so don’t be in a rush when you come. They didn’t offer a coupon or any apology when the food took a long time.
The food is a 6/10 occasionally better! Much nicer place to eat and hang than sovi but as a northlake resident it’s not convienent when it take so long and you are charged so much!
The specials look great but they aren’t offered on the meal swipe dinner menu! WTH…
With some improved management and appropriate staffing in the kitchen to keep up with demand, they might pull this business into shape. They should focus on lowering prices and driving more volume at a consistent baisis rather than an expensive venture that is becoming less attractive very quickly.
