Walking in to the restaurant I really enjoyed the ambiance and the decor. I sat at the sushi bar and ate some delicious nigiri which was well made. I followed that with a very tasty rainbow roll. I even had a bottle of Sapporo with me meal. The staff were very courteous and swift.

There appears to be a private dining area. This place can handle large parties of 10.

This is my husband’s go-to place for his birthday dinner past couple of years. The food never disappoints. Everything we’ve ordered has been delicious and always looks pretty. I’m including pics from some of our trips. I do wish the service was a little better. They may be under staffed? Overall, we really enjoy it.

We are surprised about this restaurant. Excellent and fast service. The food was delicious and fresh, with generous portions like you see in the pictures. We ordered coconut shrimp and shrimp temperature for an appetizer and was delicious, forgot to take pictures, and the food presentation was also beautiful. We are pleased to find this gem and want to come back to try more of the menu. So many options. Our server was a young Spanish gentleman unfortunately don’t remember his name but he did an excellent job.

The food here was superb. We moved from West Central Florida out to Titusville and needed a Japanese style dinner location.

I got the Chirashi sushi dinner and I couldn’t have been happier with the chefs choice of fish and the rice was delicious. Wife and kids got the hibachi and everything was so well seasoned and flavorful.

I love me some ginger salad and clear soup and theirs was amazing. This will be the new go to when ever I’m feeling like sushi and hibachi for sure.

This restaurant has an overall rating of 4.6 and if I were rating sushi in the Space coast maybe that’s appropriate for the area as I haven found excellent Sushi anywhere here. I travel a great deal and my rating is based on food, service and atmosphere from my overall experience. I ordered from the lunch menu and had the shrimp tempura. It appeared to be pre breaded to me. They also included a few pieces of vegetable tempura which was much better. The order came with soup and salad. Both were fair at best. The rice for a Japanese restaurant was average. I also ordered the same sushi rolls I order everywhere. Again they were average. The service was adequate but average and the atmosphere the same. I recognize that locals rate AKO highly and I expect it’s because there are few high quality sushi places in town. I will also state that this was the day after Christmas and maybe the actual sushi chef hadn’t arrived yet. I was disappointed as I was hopeful I found good sushi in Titusville. I didn’t and maybe the average review reflects more my disappointment. Come on Titusville, you’re near the Atlantic Ocean! The last good seafood in the area is Dixie Crossroads and Corky Bells which closed many years ago!
