A nice little diner opened on a wintery day with a slightly limited food offering off the menu due to weather conditions and not being able to re-supply. Food was delicious and Becky and Kathy were both sweet as could be. Parking is a bit limited. For seating there were 7 booths and 5 tables, a couple for larger party of 6-8.

The environment of this restaurant is filled with decades of nostalgia. The customers are their most important assest. Pictures of their past and current restaurant is spread throughout the establishment. We dined for breakfast and the food was okay for diner style dining. The waitresses are top notch and spreads their love in the service they provide.

This is exactly the type of restaurant we were looking for this morning. Country breakfast and a hamburger meal for my husband. Home fries are freshly made along with the real French fries.

Me and my Mom came in around 1 today and she had the smothered Pork Chop, and I had the Bacon Double Cheese Burger. The Pork Chop was seasoned and tender, and my burger was juicy and flavorful. Even the sides were very good. 5 out of 5 stars easily. Definitely recommend, and definitely will be coming back! Loved it! Cannot wait to try the breakfast!

The food was phenomenal. We started with the chocolate pie and a cherry cobbler so we didn’t accidentally run out of room. I had the lunch plate of one meat and three sides. It was so good and portion sizes were perfect. The rest of my party had breakfast and they enjoyed it. The sweet tea was on point! Also the ladies were delightful & so helpful with suggestions of places to visit. Will absolutely visit when we’re in town again.

Great breakfast, I’ll have to visit for lunch. Got the Spanish Omelette and I loved it. Made my head tingle the right amount. Actually I’d rate a bit better than the Fiesta Omelette at Waffle House. The Biscuits and Gravy had just the right amount of sausage and just a hint of sweet. Maybe sugar cured pork in the sausage. Not the fastest but worth the wait. Kid friendly. My partner enjoyed the coloring books and crayons. I’ll be back.

I’ve passed this place many times. “RUTHS KITCHEN”. Quiet small little place just passing the Goodlettsville line from Madison on the left-hand side. There may be about 20 tables small fit 4 small people. It’s like a meat and three.
I had roast beef, greens, and yams. Roast beef was tender a little bland. The greens bland. The yams were ok. So my other, half orders meatloaf, okra, squash. Why did he order meatloaf with onions beats me when he doesn’t even like onion. Lol, too much.
Well, here they do have 3 types of bread offered roll, cornbread, or jalapeño cornbread. It’s drier than we like. The jalapeño one could have had a little more kick. All in all, I feel like a 3 would be what I give. Never hesitate, though, to visit the locally owned.
