The atmosphere is surprisingly good. It’s bigger on the inside than what you would think. Our waitress was top notch. Ask for Emily C. being that several Emily’s work there. Appetizers were good, my steak was cooked as I requested but lacked seasoning and I asked for a seasoned steak. Our sides were great. We got dessert before we left. The peanut butter cup cheesecake & Bischoff cheesecake were delicious. The cakes on the other hand were not but they had potential. We could taste the flavors but they were not moist at all. The cakes were so dry that they crumbled like a cookie. We guessed that being stored in a cake plate in a refrigerated case is drying them out. It’s on our schedule to go back and get a different entree and maybe I can give it he food a higher rating.

We went to Kimber’s for my dad’s 75th birthday. He passed on January 8th suddenly from a stroke so it was an extremely sad day and the hubby wanted to do something nice for me.
In saying that, Kimber’s was a nice steakhouse. I had the flounder and shrimp and would not recommend it. The shrimp tasted ok but the breading fell off as soon as I touched it and the flounder although fried was mush. I sent it back and they brought out another piece that was over-fried but the fish was still mushy inside. I didn’t have it in me to fight over a piece of fish….He had the t-bone, fries, rice pilaf, and fried oysters and loved it. They bring out small loaves of French bread(?) or sourdough which were good and my salad was also tasty and very fresh.
I think if I would have gotten something else I would have enjoyed it more. The restaurant is a white tablecloth kind of place with candles on the tables and gets packed quickly. The server was very nice. They have a cooler case full of beautiful cakes and desserts. I will go go back and give it another try as I know sometimes there are off nights for food.

I haven’t been to the new Kimbers yet, so I decided to give it a try tonight. It was amazing! They had a seafood special with oysters, the seafood was so fresh. Best I’ve had in this area ever. I asked to speak to the chef, he said the seafood is breaded when you order…..so it was not heavy or old tasting. We definitely will be back…..Great job to the new owners!! My kids also really enjoyed the Chicken tenders and fries!

Kimber‘s has been a local favorite for many years…. and the new ownership is continuing the tradition of having awesome food. The fried flounder was the best fried flounder I think I’ve ever had. The shrimp and sweet potato were both delicious along with the fresh salad and bread. The atmosphere of Kimber’s is so inviting and the staff is on point.

Lived in town for years and only just made it here for the first time! Tonight we enjoyed the Valentine’s special. The steak was delicious as well as the sides. The service was amazing with attentive staff and friendly faces. This will definitely be our new date spot especially because we love to support local. I recommend Kimber’s and loved my experience here.

This is my #1 favorite restaurant whenever I come to town. The ribeye steak is the best ever. Service is always great and all staff are very friendly. I have never had a meal there that wasn’t awesome. I had my dad’s 94th birthday party there and the setup was perfect. They thought of everything. I highly recommend to all. The desserts are really good, too.

Don’t. Just don’t. We ordered two Queen Prime Ribs medium well with fries. Pretty simple order. Waitress came back asking us about our order three times, each time getting it wrong. What eventually comes out is a rare prime and medium-rare ribeye both with broccoli. Send it back to at least be cooked longer, both steaks are still not cooked enough upon return. Fries we received were also undercooked. We left without eating any of our entrees it was that bad. When I reviewed check in more detail at home, we were charged for a king size steak instead of queen and paid $90 for steaks we didn’t eat nor order. Stay away, far away. Worst dining experience ever.

Beware!!! If you’re thinking about taking your valentines date.. stop and think about it. Also, they do not take reservations on valentines. We overheard the manager or owner talking on the phone to a customer that they gotten sick from the steaks. After hearing that, we got scared. Our food came out, and we had the wrong order. They gave us 1 raw prime rib and 1 raw ribeye with broccoli. When we ordered 2 medium-well prime rib with fries. We had them recooked, and they both came back raw again. The waitress was super new and didn’t have our ticket and came back 3 different times to understand our order. Needless to say, pay $80+ without eating our food. Also, the fries were hard and not cooked all the way. Best bet, go somewhere else!!! Unless you want to get sick. I don’t know if they switched owner or mangers recently? Because the other reviews seemed amazing.

Not only do i enjoy working here, i love our customers and food! we have some of the best steak and chicken i’ve ever had and we have great appetizers and sides. my favorite is the mac and cheese!!
