my first Italian place where i finished the full pasta bowl. it was so goood. i had angel hair pasta with grilled chicken and tomato cream sauce paired with white wine. idk the name cause this was purely the waitress’s suggestion. it was so goood. i never tried wine before and i told this to my waitress and she asked me my taste preferences and got me three samples of red and white wine. so sweet it paired perfectly with my pasta. and the ambience was lovely. my whole experience was very pleasant and full filling. i loved this place. sad that i live in Michigan and not in SC to visit this place often definitely recommend if you are in Greenwood, SC ❤️

Absolutely beautiful place. Lovely staff. Unfortunately the food was pasta was ice cold but sauce was warm??.. salmon over cooked, chicken had zero flavor. Some things tasted microwaved.. over priced for what we got but staff was lovely. Im sure if given a 2nd chance it’d be different however we drove 2 hours specifically for this restraint.
Most places like this are really good, disappointing but a return is unlikely.

Y’all, the salmon was undercooked. The mushroom appetizer tasted like pure salt y’all. And y’all, the salads tasted like the bagged salads at KJ’s. And that’s not all y’all. The shrimp in the shrimp and grits still had the tails. I mean dang y’all, who wants to dig the shrimp out of their grits with their fingers and pinch tails? Gotta say I’m a little disappointed y’all. Definitely not the Capri’s we used to know and love. Y’all. I think some of y’all will know what I mean about all the y’alls.

Fabulous Italian food. Our server Karen was top notch. Large selection of food. We were to full for desert. Wish we wouldn’t have asked for more bread. Best home made bread I’ve ever eaten. We had toasted mozzarella for an appetizer which could have been a meal.

Great authentic Italian! Large portions and nice atmosphere. So much better than the big national chain places. Worth a stop in the next time you are in Greenwood, SC or just make a trip to visit!

Haven’t ever visited this location of the Capri’s Italian restaurant. We just moved to this area about a year ago and have not thought about trying it out . We had eaten at other Capri’s restaurants in Anderson when they were still open and the one in Easley but never the one in Greenwood. We were greeted with a smile when we entered, promptly given menus, and our drink orders were taken.

Madison, our server, was very friendly and hospitable to us and her other customers. She was mature and confident in the job she was doing and definitely an asset to the restaurant. She really took great care of us.

I had the baked pasta which is customizable. I ordered mine with Angel hair pasta and marinara sauce. They even covered it with pepperoni before they topped it off with a thick layer of 3 blend Italian cheeses. It was delicious and plentiful. I have enough leftovers for 2 more meals.

My husband had the spinach salad with blackened salmon. The previous night at another local restaurant, he had eaten a spinach salad with blackened salmon. The cost of that salad was twice as much and wasn’t worth eating in his opinion. Capri’s spinach salad with salmon, according to my husband, was far better than the previous restaurant which cost a lot more and the service was horrible. He had no leftovers on his plate to take home

I don’t know if this is the situation every night at Capris but on Saturday night when we visited, they were offering $2 desserts with a choice of cheesecake, Tiramisu, key lime pie, or shortbread. The dessert size was plenty for an individual versus paying $7 for a slightly bigger piece to share with someone else. He had the Tiramisu and I had the cheesecake drizzled with blackberry sauce and cool whip on the side. They were a nice finale to a great meal.

He and I both highly recommend eating at Capri’s and we won’t be waiting another year to try it again. Maybe another week but definitely not another year.

Food was excellent. Waiter was professional and charismatic. Their bread and oil before dinner phenomenal. I got chicken parm, wife got the ribeye. Both meals were gigantic and delicious. The cut of steak was a little fatty, but still excellent amd cooked to a perfect medium rare.

I am honestly surprised by the amount of good reviews regarding this restaurant. Since I moved to Greenwood, I’ve gone to this place three times. The first two times I had some minor inconveniences like simply not liking the taste of food or strong burning taste. One time we got a strawberry shortcake dessert and the strawberries were mushy and somehow carbonated.
However, today was my last visit and i will be doing it out of principle. The food was fine, however, my sister in law and my husband got the same thing. Pork ribeye. I asked my husband a piece of his food and after I tried it I realized it’s chicken. You can’t mess chicken with pork when you taste it. We weren’t too upset, I just wanted to let the waitress know, that way we got charged the right amount whether it was less or more. In response, we had some lady coming out (I assume a manager), and just bluntly started to gaslight us into thinking it was pork. Once again, we compared the two “porks” we had. The color was different, the taste, and even the look. Not only you’re going to bring the wrong meat, but you’ll also try to prove me I’m wrong??? I wish I had taken pictures, but we, as a table, were in too much of a shock.
Once again, this restaurant does not deserve the rating it has. Nothing special. I’ll stick to going to olive branch and New York pizza & pasta. I suggest you do the same.
