I had the pleasure of eating at this place last night. The ribs were a 10/10. The bite was perfect, the sauce was perfect, and the taste was out of this world. The baked beans were on point, and the cold slaw was excellent. The wait time for my order was minimal. I don’t go to BBQ spots for the ambiance, I actually like little cozy spots that just have great food and this spot was perfect. I met the owner and his wife and they were both very nice. The owner asked me how I liked the ribs, and my response was “they are delicious sir”. His response was “Oh yeah we know how to do ribs”. Well he did not lie. I am from out of Town, but will be back for Tuskegee’s Homecoming. And as I promised the owner, I will stop by again and patronize their business.
I had the please of eating at this place a 2nd time on November 1, 2025 (Tuskegee Univ Homecoming). The food was amazing as usual. I had the Brisket, baked beans, and cole slaw. The brisket was juicy, tender and had the perfect smoke ring. The baked beans were cooked to perfection and the coleslaw was delicious. The owners were very personable as usual. I had an opportunity meet the owner’s entire family and we took pictures together. I live in ATL, but I’ll be back again real soon.

The service was so welcoming and friendly. We were a lil skeptical bc you couldn’t smell the bbq as you walk up but we really enjoyed. I had whiting, butter beans, and mac and cheese. Perfect fry on the fish, crispy and delicious. The sides were good, could’ve used a lil more salt. My friend had rib tips and enjoyed. Food took a while to come out but it’s a small spot. Support these nice people in Tuskegee when you are in town.

Came in with a group of friends and had a generous portion of ribs with a side of Mac and yams. It was so good, must try if your in Alabama and Stan was so sweet! May Jesus continue to bless this place!!

Exceptional. Smokey ribs that peel off the bones. The Mac n Cheese is some of the best I’ve had. Collard greens were so good I ate them up B4 realizing I forgot to get a photo. The black eyed peas are really flavorful. Large portions of good food for a good price. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We found this place when leaving the Tuskegee Airmen Museum and it was maybe 8 minutes away. It was on a Thursday afternoon and one of the reviews mentioned oxtail Thursday, we both love oxtail and it had lots of great reviews, so we headed on over. It appeared to be a small family owned business and after walking in there was a large Family sign over the door to the kitchen so that was a good indication. Then the super nice lady at the cash register that took our order had a shirt on that said “earned not given” , another good sign, and she helped us with our order and all the available sides. I’m sure they have all kinds of great bbq but we went straight for the oxtail. She said it would be about 10 mins and when she handed me the containers of food, she had bagged them up for us not knowing we were eating in, I carried the bag to our table and told my wife I would save the bag because the containers were so heavy I expected to be carrying leftovers home. That didn’t happen! The food was so good we ate every last bit of it and it was a lot. We both had the oxtail, Cajun cabbage and Mac n cheese. Every person working there and other customers coming in and out were super nice and friendly and we would go back any time we are in the area. I didn’t get everybody’s names, but we did meet Stan aka Stosh!, and he was a great guy and everybody thanked us for coming in. You won’t find a nicer group of people or better food anywhere around, it just can’t happen. We travel the country full time in our rv and are always looking for local businesses like this to support. Can’t say enough good things about this place and especially the people that work there! Just go and enjoy! Our pics didn’t come out good due to the bright sunshine but it’s a nice clean place.

I needed food on Sunday night. The brisket is well seasoned. The fat melts in my mouth. The mac and cheese is delicious. The butter beans are delectable. I love that the cornbread is not sweet but absolutely delicious. And the customer service is wonderful. The cashiers, cooks, and owners are very kind. I will be coming back here.

The polish itself was good & juicy. However, the rest of the other components were a sloppy mess.
Dry unseasoned ground beef crumbs falling everywhere, every time you pick it up. The bun was just a regular “cheap” bun… ripped and couldn’t hold sausage. And a sad drizzle of mustard on top as. They forgot the coleslaw on top. went back in to get the slaw (the lady was very sweet and apologetic), but it was not cold and dry… kinda tasted like it has been sitting out (threw that in trash).
Overall, the woman was very sweet, and the sausage ALONE was juicy and yummy… that’s where the stars came from.
