We had an absolute best time here at Vicky’s and strongly recommend it. Great vibe, service, food, music, people, all combine to being one of the best nights to spend here in Coachella Valley. And the jazz! There are not a lot of places with a grand piano and the acoustics is amazing! We like to thank the staff and Slim Man Band for a very entertaining evening to remember. We can’t wait for the next time!

Very interesting atmosphere, it’s very outgoing on one end of the restaurant and the other end seems calmer. The lounge is great, they have live music and a dance floor. Don’t be surprised seeing wine drunk older ladies busting a move. The drinks are very well made and the food is spectacular. It is an experience, but I probably wouldn’t go back just because it’s pricey for what they give you.

It is so great that they accept reservations in the lounge now. The food was exceptional, the drinks great, the music on Saturday night and was my birthday as well. But what made the night special was our server ELENA she stood out with her smile, her attention to every detail and professionalism we will be back and look to sit in her section again

Went out to dinner with another couple to Vicky’s of Santa Fe for the first time and had an all around great experience. We had a 6 PM reservation and though the place was packed, our table was reserved and it was not overbooked. The bar was packed and so was the restaurant. We were thankfully seated in a corner so we could hear each other above the din, especially since my husband wears hearing aids and the ambient noise makes it extra difficult to hear. We enjoyed the steamed artichoke and fried calamari appetizers and the cuts of steak were quite massive and delicious! The bill was $150 per couple and only our friends had wine (1 glass). The valet was complimentary and the piano player added great background light jazz music. We would definitely return to this chic restaurant that has a relaxed vibe.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I’ll start with the positive- the band was incredible. I definitely recommend sitting in the lounge for the live music.
Unfortunately, that’s the end of the highlights. Service was beyond terrible. I’m shocked that a manager never came over, as the meal was a total disaster.
Where to start? How about that they brought our entrees (rotisserie chicken and mac and cheese) before they brought the salads/appetizers. When I mentioned that we were still waiting for our salads, they took the entrees away and brought our salads (crazy overdressed). While we were eating the salad, the server again brought the entrees and asked if we wanted them. We said we were finishing the salads and to bring them later. It was a Saturday night and we weren’t in a rush.
Half a hour later they brought the entrees they warned us that the plates were hot – restaurant speak for the fact that they were sitting under the heat lamp for a while. I asked if it was the same meal as had been brought twice previously and the server admitted it was. How can food possibly taste fresh after sitting under a heat lamp for more than 30 minutes?
Everything was completely dried out and terrible. They left the mac and cheese side and brought new entrees. Mac and cheese was also from original service and was dried and gross.
It came time for the bill and I’m not particularly surprised that nothing was done. I’m guessing the server (Nicole T) didn’t mention anything to the manager. I mentioned that I was surprised that they didn’t do anything (drinks? dessert?) to compensate for such a terrible experience and she asked if I wanted something taken off. I said I would leave it to her judgment . To be fair, there was nothing that would have made things right, but they took the salads off the bill. She justified charging for the chicken since we took the leftovers to go.
Worst part – and assuming you made it this far – was that Vicky’s came highly recommended and it was our first visit. I wish I could give them a second chance, but there are too many other places that deserve a chance before this place gets another opportunity.
Wow. All I can say. So horrible an experience and a real shame, as the live music was amazing.

So we went on a Monday and this was the band and they’re absolutely fantastic. Our server was also excellent and our meal was good. Drinks were a bit burned but overall a super fun evening and I would highly recommend. If you’re there for the musics request the lounge and go ahead and get am early reservation – like 5:30:)

Can’t believe we’ve lived here this long, and not made it to this real gem! Beautiful atmosphere. Exceptional food. And what an incredibly attentive, and caring service staff! Cindee was amazing. She really went the extra mile! We’ll be back to see her for sure! We had the BLT wedge, their house onion and tomato salad (yum,!) & The shrimp cocktail. -All fabulous starters. Halibut special, Rigatoni, and Lobster ravioli. All incredible. Great cocktails as well. Thanks again. We’ll be back soon.

We for some reason haven’t been here for years. So we went on Wednesday night. The restaurant and bar were very busy as we sat down. Our server came up and welcomed us and took our cocktail order, to our friend Toms surprise they had a appletini which he loves. I ordered the chopped tomato and onion with blue cheese and the steak burger. Tom had the lambchops and Jim the Fried chicken special. My said to be honest wasn’t that great. The onions were over marinated and translucent which means they have been sitting in a dressing for too long. I just ate the tomatoes and the blue cheese. Entrees arrived and my burger looked fantastic. It was suppose to have fontana cheese but for some reason it had cheddar, also it had grilled onion which I’m not a fan. However it was a very tasty Burger and I would order it again! Tome Lamb Chops were excellent a was Jims Fried chicken. The side of Au gratin were also very very good. Huge portions and large cocktails we will defiantly come back We had a very nice experience here
