In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. We do things the Bueno way, and you’re sure to taste the difference.

Great portions. Decently priced. Accurate and efficient.
In comparison to taco Bueno 86th St. location here in Owasso, Oklahoma, the 116th St. location is working circles around them. I personally do not go to the 86th St. location anymore.
The product availability, customer service, cleanliness, and overall customer satisfaction seems to be substantially higher at this location in comparison to their counterparts. Out of approximately seven visits I have had zero complaints and/or problems with this location. It is important to note that the ladies who worked the drive-through window are top notch. They are always making sure to include the cutlery, napkins, sauces, and so on. I have to give them a shout out on this review!
If looking for a fast food Mexican option, this is the go to. Taco Bell is one of a kind, but this is more freshly prepared and a higher quality product/ingredients.

Centrally located, clean, timely service. Our guy that took our order was friendly and knowledgeable – as far as the menu. I took my order to go. I ordered a beef burrito and two tacos. When I got home, I noticed I had a bean burrito, not beef. I don’t like beans, so that was money lost for me. No I decided not to call the restaurant. Five stars for food bcause the food was good, just not exactly what I ordered. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I had one of the worst experiences at this location today. I waited 20 minutes in the Drive-Thru with only one vehicle ahead of me, even though they didn’t seem to order much. My burrito took 10 minutes to make at 2:47 p.m., which I could have overlooked, but the customer service was unacceptable.
Linda told me they were out of cilantro and that I’d have to come inside to get it from the toppings bar, even though I was in the Drive-Thru. When she finally brought it out, it was black, moldy, and room temperature. On top of that, Natalia’s attitude was completely uncalled for and rude.
The food quality and disrespect I experienced make it clear I won’t be returning to this location.

Drive through since lobby was closed. Went to park and saw the employees laying down on the seats in the lobby, it says to say hello so they know you’re there but they didn’t even have their headset on to know if i was outside by the drive through or not? They made me go around it again just for it to take a while, 0 star rating man very disappointing.

Very quick service, food was hot and fresh. Bueno has the best refried beans of any Mexican restaurant, they actually taste like beans. Taco was crisp, large, and fresh. In my opinion, their food is as good as some of the expensive Mexican restaurants period with half the cost. This location had the Salsa bar. Good job!!

Walked in to order 4 bean burritos and had to wait 45 minutes to get them and there was a total of 10 people sitting in the restaurant with no food waiting for it for about the same time. They need better management or workers that know what they are doing.

Let me start they didn’t have any beef so menu was limited. The food tasted absolutely terrible, literally made all of our food wrong, didn’t eat almost half of it. The churros tasted like they’ve been sitting out for hours. Would literally drive back to get a refund but they close early and no one will answer the door or drive thru. Paid $18 bucks for crap food and not even going to eat it. Stay far far away from this taco bueno

We got carry-out, so I can’t comment on service or atmosphere. But the food was far too expensive, the items were skimpy (my scrawny chicken potato burrito contained only ONE potato), and none of the items tasted good. I don’t plan on ever going there again.

Growing up, Bueno was always a treat. That’s probably why, when my sister came back to town, she picked it for a quick bite. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst meals I’ve ever had there. The chips were awful—like the oil hadn’t been changed in months—and everything else just kept making it worse.

If I could give all of it no stars I would but to start it off, they need new management to take over this bueno and clean it up. The drive thur sign has peices missing off of it so you cant read the whole menu, the 2nd drive thur speaker hasnt worked in a while and then they are SO SO slow and apparently don’t get orders correct and they make their food so sloppy. I went through the drive thur this evening and orders my husband the beef wholotta platter without guacamole on it and whenever I got it home to him it wasn’t the wholotta platter it was the chilada platter with only 1 chilada and it was very sloppy and nasty looking. Won’t be going back ti this bueno!
