The service was great. Everyone who served us was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was also great. Nice environment and good music. However my food was mediocre. I ordered a typical dish called encebollado which is very common so I would’ve expected to be great and delicious. It was not. The tuna was very hard and it was annoying having to keeping chewing over and over. The liquid itself was plain lacking salt and some type of condiments. I guess every place has its way of making this dish but I particularly didn’t like the big raw onions on top of the soup that overpowered the whole food. Lastly the soup was warm. Not hot at all. In a manner of minutes it was cold. I will not be ordering this dish here again. The rest of the family had no complaints about there food but they ordered grilled meats so not that complicated.

It is hard to find good Ecuadorian restaurants in New Jersey. Nanos is one of the few. There is an extensive menu of traditional Ecuadorian food. There is also a large bar that serves many cocktails. There is also an English menu and they have servers that speak English or Spanish.

I’m always on the hunt for a little taste of home here in the US, and I finally found it at Ñaños 593. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I was back in Ecuador. The atmosphere, the music, and especially the smells, it all took me right back to my roots.
The food was beyond amazing. I had the tigrillo, and it was PERFECT and My friends had the encebollado, and they couldn’t stop raving about how authentic and flavorful it was. Every dish that came out of the kitchen looked so good I wanted to try them all, but the portions were so generous and delicious that I was completely full.
What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was our server, Ingrid. She was so friendly and welcoming, and she made us feel like family. She was knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations, and her warm personality truly added to the feeling of being at home.

1st time here and I have been looking forward to bringing my kids and mother to celebrate Mother’s Day dinner a week after.
So let me start with the food selection. I wish they had a better variety of entrees as I feel that it was limited but it is what it is.
The food itself – the food was really good. Good flavor and fresh. Really large portions so I have food for the next 2 days. 5 stars on the food itself.
Service – If I could give a negative score, believe me, I would. The server came to take our order. We made the order as easy as possible. Food took a little time to come out but that’s ok.
Now for the dissatisfied experience when it came to “service”. Not once, did Gilena (server) come to check up on us to see if we needed any more drinks or if everything was delivered. Then, we all finished eating, and not once did Gilena come by to see if we were done. She attended the tables around us and kept walking. I tried several times to get her attention and was ignored. We literally waited close to 40 minutes for her to acknowledge me and I finally got to ask her for containers so I could pack our food and I asked for my bill. There, she was quick and then I saw the most hilarious thing. $18.29 as a “Gratuity” automatically charged on the bill. Then, the place had the audacity to charge me $0.50 for each container. Gratuity should be factored in on the service itself and not placed on the bill automatically, especially with the below-standard service my family and I experienced. I received my bill and then still had to wait an additional 20 minutes to have my card taken to be charged so I could leave. The bus person who cleared the table took my card and had someone else charge my card so I could finally leave the establishment.
Atmosphere- the music was so loud and they sat us under the speaker and we had to shout to each other to speak. This is not a nightclub but a place where one can come and relax for a nice dinner. Some music is alright but not to the level where you can’t hear the person or think it’s a club inside. We had to shout to each other so try and talk. It’s ridiculous.
I will never go to Naños Restaurant again. Will miss the food but not the service. No insult to the rest of the staff who might be amazing but it does take 1 bad apple to ruin an experience.

It was my first time here and when I say the food and drinks were super amazing I called and text everyone about this place ! Everyone that works there is very friendly and super respectful . They’re Colombian I believe and spoke maybe 2% English but was very patient with trying to understand me when I spoke . Everything I ordered from what I wanted and what they recommended was very much on point . Everything was clean , I didn’t have to wait for anyone because if I needed something someone was already walking over to ask if I was ok or needed anything . I was enjoying myself so much I didn’t even care that I didn’t understand their music and was still dancing to it . I honestly don’t know how crowded it gets because I went around maybe 11-11:30pm but there were some tables open but I decided to sit at the bar . When I get another day off I will be back to try a different dish and drink ! Next time I go I will take my kids (Yes kids are allowed)

I don’t remember the name of the corn dish but it was sweet corn with cheese (Recommended) and they mixed it with my white rice (your choice of rice) , beef short ribs which I always get medium well (very well seasoned and tender) , garlic shrimp , and sweet plantains .
