10/10 do not recommend the Chicken Express in Bartlesville. The last time my husband and I ate there was about a year ago and when I bit into my biscuit I swore that I might as well have stuck a birthday candle in it. It tasted exactly like vanilla birthday cake. When I brought it to the attention of the staff I had him try it and he just giggled about it and said “yeah it does taste like cake.”
Well, tonight we decided to give it another shot. It was a complete disappointment again. The frozen fries were not cooked all the way and just tasted like they were defrosted then put on the plate. (By the way where did their seasoned fries go?)My “biscuit” was more like an unfilled eclair, so was the second one that was brought out to me after I complained about the first one. Not sure what is going on and where management is overseeing the “quality” of the food that’s being produced! We will NOT be going back!

ive been to several of these location and they are always good..love the fried chicken and the spicy tenders..gizzards sould be pressure fried..breading was hard and they were tough to eat..fries and mashed potatoes were good..the rolls were great..service was great..all in all it was a good experience..give them a try if you havent already..it shouldnt disappoint.

This was our first time eating at Chicken Express. I have to say, the experience could not be better. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh, hot and flavorful. The jalapeño poppers are delicious! The dining room was clean and well kept. This will not be my last time eating here. Great job Chicken Express!

We came here for the first time. We went through the drive thru. Very nice respectful man took our order and a very nice lady waited on us at the window. The food was hot, fresh and wonderful. We got the largest meal and split it three ways. We drove from another town, but we will definitely be coming back. Great food and service!

Staff and food are great but management’s gotten stingy. Menu price increases all around and you can’t even choose between biscuits or hushpuppies. General drop in quality overall.

Ate her for the first time the other night. I’m not a huge fan of chicken but the other place was packed with a broken oven so I thought I’d try it. I’m so glad I did! I got the 4 chicken strips with 2 sides, fried okra and mashed potatoes and gravy. The only complaint I had was that I couldn’t get all the sides. LOL All the food was great and I will be back!

I really liked this place when it opened but it’s terrible now!! Their biscuits are like hockey pucks!! Brought it to staff’s attention and they couldn’t care less. 2 of the employees were just standing there holding up the counter and they were very rude!! Never going back but I know they don’t care.

I almost didn’t go here last night. I read the bad reviews and almost went somewhere else. I really wanted fried chicken though so I didn’t skip it. I’m glad I didn’t. The food was seriously delicious. The guy behind the cash register was super nice and helpful. I wish I lived here. I would eat here once a week. I got the chicken gizzards. They were amazing! I also got a chicken thigh. It was juicy and cooked perfect. The gravy and the sweet tea were also both above standard!
