I hosted an intimate engagement party at The Meeting House and couldn’t have chosen a better venue. The space was warm, beautiful, and perfect for celebrating with close family and friends. The food and drinks were excellent — everything felt elevated but still approachable — and the cocktails were a big hit with our guests.
The staff was attentive, organized, and made the entire evening feel effortless, which allowed us to truly enjoy the celebration without worrying about logistics. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and memorable. Our event planner, Jeremy was extremely professional, quick to respond and accommodating to every one of our needs.
Highly recommend The Meeting House for private events and special occasions — it was the perfect setting for such an important moment in our lives.

I’ve been here for brunch two times. The first time I got the brioche French toast and the rosemary potatoes, and it was not good. The second time I got the chicken and pancakes, and it was absolutely amazing, which is high praise coming from me because I generally prefer waffles. The atmosphere is just alright, the crowd can be a little bit standoffish.

We celebrated my daughter’s baptism here and everything went perfect. The service was excellent and the food tasted amazing. We have had dinners multiple times here however this is the first time we did a private event. What stood out to me the most was how honest and caring the staff was. They offered us to take bottles of wine at the end because we didn’t meet the minimum. Any other location would not have cared. Definitely recommend to host your next event here or just go for a delicious dinner.

Easter brunch so the menu was a prefix with three shared dishes: biscuits, salad and mix fresh fruits. All three were good. I got the lamb shank as it’s Easter. The lamb was cooked well; the meat fell off the bone. The polenta was seasoned well and smooth. The grilled veggies balanced the dish well.
The steak, eggs and fries were also cooked and seasoned well. The pancakes of their breakfast plate were the clear winner of the dish.
The service was excellent. The space is beautiful – open and bright. One complaint is the chairs. Too hard for my body.

The patio is hands-down the best in town—tranquil, spacious, lovely landscaping surrounding it, half a mile from the university with easy parking.
Cocktails are creative and updated seasonally, try the El Guapo it stays on the menu for good reason, (I like mine with jalapeño). We came during covid for the outdoor space and it became our go-to cocktail (and cheeseburger spot). Please forgive me, they have a fantastic menu, there is something for everyone, the salmon and flatiron steak are delicious and it is by no means a “burger place.” But I could not help myself, they make a REALLY good burger and I otherwise rarely order them.
Special thanks to Dago and Daniel for always creating such a welcoming atmosphere.
* we were usually there after dinner peak so could easily get a spot. I don’t know what wait times are otherwise. I’m sure reservations are recommended.

Came here for a baby shower and was genuinely impressed across the board. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the venue itself is beautiful—perfect for a small celebration or intimate event.
The meal started off strong with a simple but delicious salad. The oil and vinegar dressing, elevated by coarse salt, was a perfect balance of flavor. I ordered the burger and it was honestly fantastic—perfectly cooked, paired with a flavorful aioli, and served on a soft, pillowy bun.
Everything felt thoughtful and well-executed. I’d absolutely come back, whether for another event or just a nice dinner out in Princeton.

Had a wonderful large group dinner in the meeting house’s rear dining room. The bread, spicy cocktail, bourbon cocktail sweet Georgia brown, and chocolate dessert were especially good.
The rambling restaurant has several dining rooms at street level and another down stairs with its own bar. They also have several tables outside on a sunny patio. There is a paid parking garage behind the restaurant’s building.

My friend made reservations at this brunch spot in Princeton, and it definitely felt like a hidden gem if you’re not familiar with the area. The interior was absolutely stunning — I loved the aesthetic! The food was delicious, especially the veggie sandwich and the pancakes with Nutella, which were both amazing. The service was great; the waiter checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s definitely more of a family and friends spot on weekends, so it can get a little busy. Price-wise, it’s on the higher end, but the food was totally worth it. The espresso martini was just okay. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for classy vibes and great food. Would definitely go here again!

Overall a good experience. Food is above average. Prices were ballpark for these days. Good Happy Hour drinks with interesting cocktails, good assortment of draft beers and interesting bites selection. Nice ambiance overall. Service was friendly and overall fairly good. They have two levels to eat and two levels of bar. Modern feel. Parking is little tricky. Paid deck or street (free). I would return, certainly for happy hour.

Great atmosphere. We started at the bar where the bar tenders were very attentive and move to a table. The service was great. We were there for brunch, really good selection. I got the fluffiest pancakes I have ever had. Price was a little higher but I’m willing to pay for good food and good service. Put this place on your brunch list.
