The Chicago Restaurant Week menu was a perfect way to experience the restaurant. Every course was beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients and rich flavors. The meal was balanced, satisfying, and ended on a sweet note with a decadent dessert
Service was attentive and thoughtful, making the experience even better. Coco Pazzo is the perfect spot for an authentic Italian meal in the city. Highly recommend checking it out, especially during Chicago Restaurant Week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ordered Penne All Arrabbiata – so delicious and a must for spicy buds!! Melanzane Parmigiana, the baked eggplant was out of this world! Excellent! Had Margarita pizza. Very tasty. The dessert Profiteroles was different and delicious. Well presented with chocolate sauces. Should try. I plan to go back. Highly recommended for a wonderful Italian Tuscan dinner fare!!
I like the Italian Manhattan. I was happy with a glass of Gavi with my fish. $325 Inc service for 2. Two cocktails two courses 3 glasses wine.
Service is classic as the maitre d’ and team are unchanged for a couple of decades.
Regarding food – salmon was cooked perfectly, but the customers complained the gnocchi was bland and ravioli too sweet. My espresso martini was a disaster – there was thick foam on top I had to navigate to get to the drink.
What also made the experience uncomfortable was that I felt a noticeable difference in how guests were treated. I was dressed business casual, yet it seemed like other customers were prioritized. That may not have been intentional, but it definitely affected how welcome I felt.
The restaurant itself is nice, and I still tipped well, but better handling of reservations and more consistent, respectful treatment of all guests would really improve the experience.
