The food received from Bob Evan’s on Cherry Valley Rd in Newark, Ohio through takeout order placed 09 18 2025 was extremely disappointing!
1. Burnt bun
2. Didn’t receive a double side of fries, as ordered
3. Carrots were overcooked
4. Chicken dry, overcooked
5. Gravy from Mashed potatoes covered the whole bottom of the togo container, causing the honey butter chicken to taste like chicken gravy
6. Biscuits were very hard, making it impossible to split because all they would do was crumble

My waitress was okay in serving my family of 5, I had to ask for more drinks, and had to try to get her attention to get napkins, the restaurant wasn’t very busy when we went hardly no one in there, anyways, when it was time to pay, she took the card ( I thought we were supposed to go upfront to pay, that’s why I was like what’s going on, why did she say I’ll take the card), and actually put a 15% tip on there, I didn’t authorize that! I was so pissed off, honestly, I always pay more in tip anyways, but, they get paid hourly now and 15% is a lot to just steal from me without my permission, I didn’t sign for that, Y’all pay in cash and be careful, people will do anything to get an extra dollar! Even if it’s stealing a tip that I didn’t authorize , We are still upset about this!!!!!!!!!

Worst looking and tasting meal we’ve ever had. Our hash browns weren’t done. My sausage links were cold. There were burnt pieces from the grill all over it. We love Bob Evans, but we won’t go back to this location.

First, a big thank you and God bless to Bob Evans for honoring Veterans Day. Our meals were served fast, hot, and we’re delicious. Our server was attentive, polite, and stayed on top of our drink refills. When we got to the register, my meal was removed from the bill as a thank you for serving, that was such an honor. Thank you again Bob Evans.

Excellent service from the time we walked through the door! The lady who greeted me and my friend was very pleasant, friendly, and professional. We were seated promptly, and our waitress came over to take our order within a couple of minutes. She was also very polite, friendly, and greeted us with a smile.
The atmosphere was quiet, peaceful, and cozy.
My friend and I were there for breakfast, and we both ordered hot chocolate, along with the Double Meat Farmer’s Choice meals (french toast instead of pancakes). The food was absolutely delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection.
Looking forward to our visit at this location.

My kids and k haven’t been to Bob Evens in quite sometime, this one in particular (since the local road change).
It was easy walking in, the wait was minimal. Our waitress was polite and helpful.

Only 1 star because 0 isn’t an option By far the absolute worse Bob Evans you could ask for. My chicken was burnt and half the size it normally was. My wife found a giant hair in her pancakes, there was no syrup, they forgot the bread. This one is going down hill. I have had a problem here once before and swore it off. But after a few years we came back…it’s gotten worse. Left a comment on the website with my contact info. Have yet to hear anything and this happened days ago. This place needs to close the doors.
