All around just a poor experience. The menu was unclear on some things and had errors. There were items on their to go menu that weren’t even listed on their in house menu. The server took a long time to come back after taking our drink orders to get our meal orders. It took almost an hour from when we sat down until our food came out. They were not busy. It was literally the server taking too long to come and get our order. The salad was good, the mozzarella sticks felt store bought and stale. The marinara dip was more like chunky par-cooked tinned tomatoes than anything else. I didn’t even taste my entre and sent it back because it had something in it that was listed improperly on the menu and mislead me. They did offer to remake it, but since we had already been there an hour, I declined and my husband took his (also obviously store bought) chicken parm to go. Suffice to say, we will never be going back. The food shouldn’t have surprised us, as the decor and service were equally crappy. Save your money, go to Olive Garden and have a better experience even if it is a chain.

The food here is fantastic! It is authentic Italian food mom and pop style, not a chain restaurant. Derby needs more places like this because we have so many chain restaurants. There were only a few customers which is very sad because the food is top notch.

To start we ordered the meatball appetizer which was delicious but in our opinion a bit overpriced at $10 for 4 small meatballs. Then we ordered the Chicken Alfredo and the Chicken Parmesan for our entrees. Both were very filling and delicious, albeit a bit more expensive than the local competition, but we thought it was worth the price difference for a more authentic taste and to support a local business. We were also given a complimentary basket of garlic bread to go with our meals (not pictured) which tasted freshly baked and paired well with our food. The cannoli was delightful and was like the cherry on top of an overall delicious meal.

Nataly was very attentive, answered any questions we had, and took good care of us while we were there.

If I had to complain about anything it would maybe be the atmosphere is a bit dated but it doesn’t ruin the dining experience by any means. Also the pricing is a bit higher than average but I understand this is a growing local business and I’m willing to pay the extra to support them if they can deliver in the flavor department.

Overall a wonderful eating experience and we’ll likely be back sometime soon.

Had lunch her with my wife and we were blown away by the food and service! Prompt and the marinara is probably the best I’ve ever had. Atmosphere is lacking but the place has only been open for 2 weeks and I’m sure that will change.

Would 100% recommend and we will be back for sure!!!

We had a great experience the last 2 times we went. The waiter was very attentive and helpful when asking what his recommendations were. I could care less if they serve alcohol at this time. I recommend the Genova it was amazing and my husband had the Shrimp Tortellini we enjoyed our bread with there fire dipping oil as well.

First time visiting tonight. We were seated immediately; restaurant was not very busy. Service was good, restaurant was clean, atmosphere ok, could use some additional decor. Food came pretty quick. Food quality and taste was good. I was very surprised they didn’t offer an Italian style salad… the on complaint (minor at that) was the lasagna on my tour of Italy was tiny. Despite that, everything tasted very good, and was served very hot. All in all, it was a good meal. I’m sure we’ll be back.

We tried the Pasta Sampler and the Genova. I found the red sauce and accompanying pasta to be quite good. The chicken in the Genova was tender and not dry. The Genova sauce over all seemed to lack flavor. I’m not sure what it’s missing though. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other dishes, certainly the Spaghetti Works. Prices are a little higher than I expected, but for more authentic Italian it’s probably on par with places like Angelo’s. There is a lot of space inside, so even if the lot is full of cars they probably have room. Nice to have a decent Italian restaurant in Derby.

We went for lunch and the food was delicious! From the bread to the meal we were stuffed and will definitely be going back to try more! We ordered the shrimp tortellini and the shrimp fettuccine and everything was made from scratch even the noodles were homemade.

We had a pleasant visit to Amore. Service was attentive. Atmosphere was mediocre as they transition from the previous Mexican restaurants decor. Music was way too loud. Too much Sinatra. Quite pricey. Canoli was exceptional.
