Super authentic! Reasonable pricing. Don’t be fooled by the low-key outdoor aesthetics.
The inside is nicely decorated, clean, and spacious seating.
The food tastes absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. You can really tell there’s attention to quality in every dish.
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Service was attentive without being overbearing.
The vibe reminds me of the cozy cafes in Hong Kong—casual, lively, and comforting. It’s the kind of place you can stop by for a quick breakfast, meet friends for lunch, or relax over dinner.
Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!
I had the Lava French Toast, meets my expectations and the sweetness level is just about right. Service is super friendly and atmosphere is chill. Might come back again 😉
Providing plenty of both indoor and outdoor seats, the venue gave that old school Hong Kong cafe/resto vibes.
We started with the small rice paper rolls cooked in the house peanut sauce. I’ve been craving for this comforting appetizer and it’s so nice finally having it, just wishing it came with meat or Chinese doughnut sticks instead of the rice paper alone.
Their HK Style Pineapple Bun should never be skipped. The crunchy sweet layer on top perfectly blended with the soft fluffy bun and savory stuffing. They had multiple options and we opted for pork chop, which was delightfully tender and well complemented by the tasty sauce and sunny side up.
We closed our meals with the Ovaltine French Toast to end it sweet and it’s slapping! The taste was literally as amusing as the lava explosion, and I was so hyped finding Ovaltine!
Food is delicious and generous with portion size. Service is simple and quick.
This is my third visit in the last two trips since I don’t live in the area.
The rice congee with pork and century egg is proper, as well as the rice rolls with crunchy dough stick inside! Soft outside and crunchy inside.
The pineapple bun with butter (I had it to go) is so good!
They also will refill your milk tea or lemon tea which makes it such a good deal.
Highly recommended.
Their inside dining area is a bit small and they’ve expanded dining capacity with two outdoor seating areas, so there’s a high chance you’ll end up dining outside. I do prefer indoor as the outside dining table didn’t look too stable, but I appreciate that the outdoor space allows them to serve customers faster.
We tried quite a bit and loved it all! We had the HK style pineapple bun with butter ($4.25), pan fried fish filet sandwich ($8.50), fried chicken wings and squid in spicy salt ($11.99), Ovaltine French toast ($6.95), black pepper beef fried noodles ($12.95), iced milk tea ($1.95), and iced lemon tea ($1.95). Would order again!
We parked on the residential streets and didn’t have too much trouble finding a spot. Allowed us to walk off the food coma. Check the street signs to make sure you’re not parked during a street cleaning day or some other restrictions.
The second time we went, we got classics like the baked pork chop rice with tomato sauce and some fun stuff like stir fried rice rolls. The baked rice was definitely the highlight for our group! It was salty, cheese, tangy, and very satisfying.
The food selection and quality was more than I expected from this restaurant and I was impressed.
One of the best parts is that they offer 2 free refills on all their drinks!! The parking lot is pretty small but there is tons of street parking in the area.
This is probably my newest favorite spot! Will definitely be back to try more of their menu items.
