The family and I went to this spot after coming off of a 7 day fast no good just water and we knew we needed to be careful on how we came off. This was my first time with Pho, and I was saying to myself girl you been missing out to this the whole time because this stuff is bomb. Oh, my word, the food is amazing and I don’t like everything. The service is so good the tables are big and spacious. The place is so, so so good. Love it. I will be going back. And the portion size is so big. You have to try this place, if you are thinking about coming don’t think just go. You will not regret it. It’s a good time M4M Life

I visited this restaurant with my mom on a Wednesday afternoon. We were seated promptly. I ordered F-4 Charbroiled Pork & Egg Roll w/Vermicelli. Charbroiled pork was great, not burnt (4/5) and egg roll was pretty good, crispy (3.5/5). They forgot the egg roll (as evident in my pic) at first but that was corrected. I would come back to try their other dishes.

A friend recommended this restaurant, and I am so impressed by Pho City.
I had the Pho Dac Biet, which came with beef noodle soup, rare steak, beef meatball, brisket, flank, tendon, and tripe. You can choose your noodles among rice noodles, fresh noodles, clear noodles, and egg noodles. I chose the fresh noodles. The portion was quite large, and the flavor was really great. The broth was rich and excellent.

We also ordered the Grilled Pork & Shrimp Spring Rolls and the Vietnamese iced coffee. Their spring rolls tasted amazing, it was my first time having a grilled pork and shrimp roll combo. The Iced coffee was delicious as well!
What was best of all was that I didn’t have any urge to drink water after having their pho, which was a huge plus!

I try to hit up new Pho places and this one will need a return visit. Pho bowl sizes have not been the same since inflation and cost of goods have gone up. My first time here and of course I needed to order the Extra Large. Took a little longer than the normal pho restaurants but the wait was worth it! I got there 15 mins to 12 and observed a constant flow of people coming in. This place is about 4X the size of normal pho restaurants but it quickly filled up for lunch on a Monday! I’ll be back and bring friends!

My go-to pho dive. The parking lot etc. feels a little sketch at night but if you’re good with that you will be rewarded with giant bowls of pho-liciousness. Service is fast and attentive. Portions are stoopid huge. Don’t sleep on the beef stew noodles.

Great spot for pho and friends.
Food portions and flavor were great. I had the large pho dac biet and bbq pork spring rolls. Pho, rolls, and peanut sauce were excellent!
Staff were attentive and accommodating.
Environment was fun and comfortable. It looked like they had hot pot too!
10/10 🙂

The pho was so good and the catfish was so bad. I really wants to give them 5 star on the pho but the catfish was just so bad and really not fresh at all. If you looking for pho in Sacramento come to them but make sure only order their pho. Highly recommend this place for pho and will not order the catfish anymore

I ordered 2 chicken pho ga and One order of shrimp spring roll. It was delivered to me through DoorDash when I opened up the food Immediately I gagged. The chicken was literally raw still bloody. It wasn’t even just one order my wife’s Chicken was raw as well. I always order the same thing every time I go to a Vietnamese food restaurant I am a picky eater so I like to stick to what I know. I am completely disgusted by this. And the worst part is the shrimp spring rolls that I ordered had mold specs on the shrimp I spent over $50 on a meal I could not eat. We r pissed.

The food here was delicious and reasonably priced. My wife and I ordered a house special pho, a spicy pho, some chicken wings, and a red bean shake. The portions of pho were generous, packed with protein and fresh vegetables. The chicken wings had great flavor—not too salty but still super savory in my opinion. The red bean shake was surprisingly good, even better than what I’ve had at most boba places. I’d honestly go back just for that. The service was friendly, but I did notice that the restroom was out of toilet paper, and the cleanliness of the restaurant didn’t quite meet expectations. Overall I would come here again just for the food, but I had just wished the place was a bit more welcoming.

Edit: I’ve tried lots of dishes from them. The a la carte ca kho (braised fish) is delicious. However, don’t like their com ga an nam (chicken and rice)…I think they can improve on the fish sauce there. Usually the dish is served with ginger and onion sauce so the kimchi tasted weird too imo. The cơm tam is pretty darn good though, meat is Marinated really well. Ive also tried their hot pot which is also decent! Still my favorite vietnamese restaurant in Sac.
Old review: Honestly pretty decent food for the price. I like the pho here most out of all the vietnamese places on Stockton. All their other dishes are also decent. The bun rieu tastes very healthy. My parents enjoy the Chao long from here too. Their rice plates are also enjoyable…especially their ca kho. More impressively, they take apple pay as a payment method.
