Came for dinner on Sunday night and they were a bit full so we waited for about 5-10 minutes. We then ordered pad thai and pad kee mao, both chicken with 5 star spicy level. Pad kee mao was awesome and definitely our favorite! The portion for both were huge! So much so that we had some leftover pad thai to go. Service was great and friendly. Place was clean and we’re actually glad to see it was quite busy. Plenty of parking in the backlot. Definitely recommend for those looking for thai food in Kent station area.

Banyan Tree at Kent Station is the perfect place for Thai food. My partner and I ordered garlic fried rice with chicken, Tom Yum soup with prawns, and I had a Moscow Mule. We had enough for both of us to have a couple of servings and plenty to take home for leftovers. The fried rice had a wonderful garlic crisp to it. The broth with lemongrass in the Tom Yum soup is good for the soul served on top of white rice. The Moscow Mule hit the spot. You can’t go wrong with ample & free parking as well, makes the location easy to get in and out of.

Probably the best Thai restaurant outside Seattle and Bellevue- this place makes really delicious food fast and with great care. The Tom yum fried rice, garlic trout, Panang curry, are all delicious. The must-order is that amazing sauce with the garden rolls- one of the most unique bites you’ll have. The sauce is sort of a sweet green chili sauce with cilantro and mint, filtered to remove leaf particles, and they sell it by the bottle- I could drink the stuff it’s so good.

A tasty option.
A nice restaurant with pretty good food. I’ve just had one visit but I was happy with my time.
I was able to get a table right away and the service was attentive and friendly. My plate was well put together and good and I had a very tasty house cocktail.
Left a good impression, I’d be happy to go back any time.

I found the food to be okay I have had better. The mango sticky rice and the coconut ice cream were great. The fresh spring roll, coconut shrimp, and Tom Kai were probably the best dishes. Service was great. We wanted to try a lot of the food while there.

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve had good Thai food. Mostly because I moved to Gig Harbor and good Asian food is hard to come by. I met my siblings here for lunch. My first time, but my sister’s 3rd time. I was amazed at how good everything was! Like I said, I haven’t had good Thai food in a long time, so I didn’t really feel like Thai food. My brother, who has been here countless times, picked this place because he said it was fast. We got there at 12:45pm, all of our orders came by 1:08pm, and paid at 1:25pm!

Our food:
1) complimentary bowl of delicious chicken broth with a little bit of rice, chicken, veggies
It helped whet our appetite!
2) fresh garden rolls
The dipping sauce was delicious and the rolls were super fresh!
3) chicken wings
6 pieces, cooked to perfection, and delicious sweet Thai chili sauce.
4) phad kee mao with shrimo
My brother orders this dish every time – and I understand why! So yummy.
5) red curry with seafood & phad thai add-on
The curry was 2* – I think i got most of the spice with my first bite the rest was good.

Their shrimp from the phad kee mao and red curry was cooked to perfection! Quite generous too. It came to about $27/person, but it was honestly worth it. We ate everything there and it was delicious – no leftovers. The staff was pleasant and the waitress was knowledgeable in all the items. They have earned the place of “my favorite Thai restaurant” in all of Washington. Cannot find better Thai food!

Really good Thai place in Kent. Stopped in because we were going to an event at Showare Center. Everything we ordered was delicious. My only complaint with the food was that they didn’t give us enough tofu with the Pad See Ew. Felt like they skimped a little with that. Otherwise, was really happy with our meal.

Our server was great. She was so sweet & accommodating. And also gorgeous. Beautiful, friendly & another good reason to go back.

Highly recommended. If you are planning to dine in near Kent this is place
One of the finest Thai food with amazing dine in place.
Ordered crispy vegetable spring roll, drunken noodles, broccoli delight, yellow fried rice and a glass of strawberry lemonade and Jasmine tea.
Ended with a fried banana with coconut ice cream.
Most satisfying food ever. I wish they had hot sauce too.
All the food was so tasty. Ambience 10, super clean restaurant, very friendly staffs.
Would want to go again and again.

If you’re planning to celebrate a birthday or special occasion, be aware that bringing your own cake or cupcakes may result in an extra fee. We brought a small box of mini cupcakes and, after already spending a significant amount on dinner, were told we’d have to pay an additional charge just to eat them. It was really disappointing. We ended up leaving and eating the cupcakes outside in the pouring rain, huddled under the trunk of my car.

Darn solid food, yet pricey.

Medium spice level has a good kick, 3/5.

Panang curry: 4/5
Cashew nut chicken: 4/5
$52 for the two dishes, and enough for a medium sized meal for 3 guys.
