Absolutely delicious! Very fresh and clean Mexican food. Unique flavors with original ways of serving familar Mexican dishes. Very cute decor. I liked the ambiance. Nice servers too. They only serve wine and beer but they have a nice selection. I can’t wait to go back and try another dish. We had Fajitas and Beef Enchiladas, yummy!

Great place to eat, clean, friendly and hospitable! Food was authentic, don’t go here thinking you will get Tex-mex it’s ment be different… this is MEXICAN food not TEXICAN food. Jimmy and Malta (owners and chefs) were curious and kind enough to come to my table and explain the best way to enjoy and appreciate their dishes as I ordered it like I used to get it… (my way) not thinking that a different way might be better so with some time and provided samples of sauces I decided to LISTEN to the guy making the meal and I wasn’t disappointed. If you are willing to be pleasantly surprised and have an open mind about different choices then this is the place to dine.

Authentic Mexican food! Family owned and operated. Jimmy and Marla are the chefs. My husband and I just moved here from Texas and we were missing home. We wanted authentic and that is exactly what we got! I ordered the nachos with chicken. We will definitely be back and we will bring our family and friends that visit. Muy Bueno!! I wish you could give 1/2 stars. I would do a 4.5, but I rounded up 🙂 The mole was a solid 5. I normally don’t order it, by the description intrigued me and it was excellent. My husband’s dish was good, but I don’t even remember what it was now. The service is great. It’s run by a family. Grandma in the kitchen, grand daughter waiting tables. She even offered to hold my infant son so I could eat. Very sweet.

Definitely one of the better (arguably the best) authentic Mexican restaurants around and I definitely would recommend their food and will return. The food was very good and the same for the service. I like the fact that everything they served (even the chips and salsa) is homemade. And since I’m 100% Hispanic, I can tell the difference! I ordered the “Mole Poblano” and I’d have to say it was excellent.
I subtracted a star because I believe they need to align their menu pricing with the local competition; or at a minimum, provide an equal size serving. For example, one of our table companions ordered the taco dinner and was disappointed that for the cost (more than other local restaurants), they only provided two small tacos with rice and bean sides.

Tasty authentic type tacos on homemade small round flat tortillas. $1 taco lunch special. Chips and salsa were very good too. Restaurant was clean and decorated well for the strip mail space. There is a bar and tables are spread apart well so lots of space. Good addition to the south Sarasota Osprey area. Definitely stop in and give it a try!

My wife and I went for lunch and we were both disappointed. The rice wasn’t cooked properly, some bites were chewy, even crunchy. The tacos were OK, weren’t exactly bursting with the flavor we would expect when paying $12+ per plate. I’ve had better “gourmet” tacos from food trucks. This place will struggle if they charge premium prices but don’t deliver a premium experience.

Amazing homemade food, definately worth the price. Kid friendly! Great service! Our waitress knew the menu by memory; she told us if the food was spicy or not. Clean restrooms. The only disappointment was how few people were visiting.
