Stopped in for lunch with a friend, getting there right as they opened for the day. The manager told us about their fried green tomatoes and assured us the food overall was very good. He was right! The service and food was really fresh, tasty, and nicely done.

Their fried green tomatoes were unique and interesting and very good! Their salad with grilled chicken was excellent too! Service was very nice as well. Highly recommend stopping in!

The atmosphere was dirty, the waitress is clueless. We ordered bone in wings and got boneless…. When we told her we got the wrong ones, she didn’t say and word and walked off and never came back for 20 min. The potato skins said they had cheese and bacon and there was no bacon see pictures below. The fries said they were seasoned. There was no salt on them or any season at all. this was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time, my husband went to the bathroom to wash his hands, and the bartender was in the bathroom, smoking an actual cigarette hanging in his mouth while washing his hands. They were out of all the beverages we asked for, and the water tasted like it came from a sewage.

Stopped by in the late afternoon on a Monday—it was pretty quiet, which made for a relaxing visit. We were seated right away. The place had a cozy, authentic pub atmosphere that added to the overall experience.

Started with the French onion soup, which had a decent flavor and came loaded with cheese and onions—comforting and satisfying.

The Chicken Caesar salad was a highlight: a generous portion, flavorful grilled chicken, and a well-balanced dressing that tied it all together nicely.

The menu was diverse with plenty of tempting options. Between the food and the great pub vibe, I’d definitely come back.

Paddy Hollow never disappoints! I had the crispy chicken BLT and it was absolutely perfect—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The tequila sunrise was just as amazing, refreshing and made just right. Between the great food, drinks, and atmosphere, this place has easily become one of my go-to spots. Highly recommend!

BEST FISH AND CHIPS IN WILMINGTON! We did the research so you don’t have to! Paddy’s Hollow, tucked away in the Cotton Exchange lower level, not only has crispy, flaky, golden delightful fish and chips, it also offers a plethora of amazing food choices. All the food is fresh, tasty, and if you are REALLY lucky, you will have Evan as your server! Evan makes every customer feel important, whether you are a local or a one time visitor! The only complaint we have with this gem of a restaurant/bar is that it isn’t open Sunday-Thursday for dinner! Plan your Friday or Saturday night at Paddy’s or enjoy it for a daily lunch; you will not be disappointed!

Visiting Wilmington for 4th time. Didn’t know what we wanted for dinner, but wanted to try somewhere we hadn’t been. I knew there were a few restaurants in the Cotton Exchange, so we decided on Paddy’s Hallow. The building is amazing. Cute entrance into the Irish pub style restaurant. Service was excellent, attentive, but not hovering. Food was delicious. Shared the Crab Dip appetizer. Both got the sirloin steak and it was cooked to perfection. Pricing was very reasonable for a tourist area. We’ll be back.

Nice little spot. Ordered the brisket sandwich. It was a rueben. Wasn’t very good or warm. I wish the menu just said Rueben instead. Price was too high at $17.

It just felt like touristy food instead of any real thought about making good food. I feel like selling brisket in the south but not making sure it’s a really nice slab of meat is a mistake. This was more like a deli meat style… then on this tiny residential sized bread loaf. This was a pretty weak experience.

The fries were cold and over saturated with dirty oil. So I got a soggy fry and tiny sandwich all in all for almost $20. Since it was my first meal of the day I was pretty hungry so I crushed it regardless. Seemed like just one server, I know it’s off season but the hostess shoulda been serving as well since they were so busy on a Saturday. I will never return here. I don’t think downtown Wilmington is a great place for lunch.

I did forget to mention the fries were real potato and I do feel like this place has potential still.

Paddy’s Hollow is a fantastic Irish restaurant and pub with an awesome atmosphere. The historic brick walls and classic pub setting give it so much character—it’s cozy, lively, and exactly what you want in an Irish pub.

The food was outstanding. The grilled chicken sandwich was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the fish and chips were absolute perfection—crispy, fresh, and satisfying. The drinks were just as good: cold, crisp beer on tap and a delicious espresso martini that was the perfect finish.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. If you’re looking for great food, great drinks, and an authentic pub vibe, Paddy’s Hollow is a must-visit.

Stopped by after seeing this place on a daily basis. We loved the authentic pub feeling and friendly vibes. We started with the crab dip and it was very tasty. We each wanted a light lunch so my wife had the French dip, and I had the corned beef sandwich. Appetizer and entree were spaced apart nicely so we had time to enjoy our food. Our server Delaney was very attentive, warm, and welcoming. Highly recommend a stop here while enjoying the historic Cotton Exchange.

Had the Fish and Chips, Cheesesteak and boneless Buffalo Wings. All excellent. Fish portion is big, 2nd best Philly that we I’ve had outside of Philly. Boneless chicken was big portions of Chicken Breast. Tender and juicy. A must stop if your downtown Wilmington.
