The star of the show is the cinnamon rolls. I have tried many cinnamon rolls from many different places, and finally a place that does them right!! They are loaded with cinnamon and frosting, and the texture is gooey and chewy, NOT dry. Wish I could take the whole bakery home with me to always have a cinnamon roll on hand. The carrot cake cupcake and biscuits with gravy were yummy too!

As a pastry chef by trade, I am always on the lookout for pastries and bakeries while traveling. I was blown away by the pastries here. The turnovers were amazing, and so were the cheddar bacon scones. If you ever in Calumet, you should definitely stop in! If I could give it a 10/5, I would!

The chocolate glaze on my donut was still gooey and the strawberry-rhubarb turnover was fresh for spring. Plus a hot, cheap cup of coffee. It’s nice to not be set back $15 when getting a drink and treat! But most of all, I liked the quiet, clean, vintage dining room. I appreciate that Ramona’s is the same every time I come there every 5 years or so.

Cuteeee! Love the outside ! Once you get inside though it’s dark and dreary just not my vibe. Don’t want to eat a pastry and drink a coffee inside there. Bakeries (in my opinion) need to be light with pastries in good lighting so you want them all!!!
We got a brownie (ok), a caramel roll and a really pretty puff pastry with fresh fruit.

Best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had from a bakery. Same with the German Chocolate cupcake. Ramona’s is the real deal – don’t skip the cheesecakes either! Biscuits and gravy is heavily seasoned and rich. Always look forward to visiting!
