Christian couples night out celebrating my birthday. Food was great. Server was a little to be desired, however a coworker server stepped up and made the service great! It was busy in there. We were able to get our meal and enjoy good conversation and depart on time to see a movie. Thanks to the second servers diligence to serve. Overall, a wonderful experience.

It’s been he’s since we’ve been to an Olive Garden and this new location did NOT disappoint! Our waiter (Jaquan) was EXCEPTIONAL! He was helpful in explaining the different dish options and checked back often to see if we needed anything. Our soups were DELICIOUS and nice and hot! The salad needed to have more lettuce but was tasty, and the seasoned croutons were fresh and crunchy. The bread sticks were eaten, soft, and we’ll seasoned. They were all SO GOOD, in fact, that I chose “Never-Ending Soup, Salad & Breadsticks” as my meal! My husband did the “CREATE YOUR OWN PASTA” option and choose spaghetti + meat sauce + 3 meatballs + 2 Italian sausages. (It was short one meatball but our waiter immediately brought out one!) The spaghetti tasted good but definitely needed more sauce. Add for the atmosphere, we sat in a comfortable booth and the noise level wasn’t too loud and there was pleasant background music playing. We will DEFINITELY BE BACK when we’re in town!

Make sure to make a reservation so you can enter easily. Everyone was nice and got our food out fast. The Zuppa Toscana soup was so good definitely recommend that if you like creamy soups with potatoes, sausage, and kale. My favorite is their Alfredo pasta with chicken.

I don’t usually leave reviews but had to it was the best experience we’ve had in a long time. I can honestly say Alexandria Olive Garden is one of the best Olive Gardens we have ever been to! My favorite areas where the bar seats they have charging ports and hooks for your bag and the seating in the dining room that’s under like over head things with pretty Italian wall paper. Even with it being their opening week and only being open two days and all the staff being hired within a week or two from opening they were taking care of everyone and with a smile. The weather was so cold it was so nice to get some nice fresh hot soup and bread sticks. The bread was phenomenal perfectly crispy, soft, hot just the right amount of garlic just delicious! The mozzarella sticks were perfectly cooked not overcooked or mushy just crisp cheesy and delicious! Had the Gnocchi soup and got the pleasure of meeting the General manager Jackie Cioni and even with as busy as it was she greeted us with a smile and took the time to answer our questions and even walked me through how my delicious Gnocchi was made. A lot of love and hours goes into each batch. They make it by huge batches right in the kitchen daily they cut the raw chicken into small pieces and marinate it by itself before putting in each individual fresh ingredient into their batches and work on them for hours to achieve that signature Olive Garden taste. Had the Chicken Alfredo with the rotini love that they offer gluten free options and their gluten free pasta was just amazing makes you feel less guilty and taste just as good if not better! Perfect texture and the Alfredo is delicious creamy and not over powering just right. The only difference we notice is that the grill chicken taste different then it has in the past at other locations. It looks different like it’s being cooked different. Whatever was changed was not for the better the chicken looks different and it tasted very bland like it’s not adding any value to the dish. Hope corporate didn’t go more commercial with the chicken instantly noticed the difference. Besides the chicken everything else was amazing. My sister had the steak Gorgonzola the steak was cooked perfectly and it this delicious drizzled sauce on it that was amazing. Good portions for your money, everything was hot, free refills on fountain drinks, soup, salad and bread sticks can’t beat that. Get bang for your buck. My kids are very picky and it was great that they had options hand made oven pizza, chicken tenders, pasta with no sauce or just butter for your picky eaters. We’re not really a tap water family so we loved that they have options. If you don’t want the tap water they have regular bottled water or bottled Italian water still or sparkling. (Aqua Panna and Perrier) The bottle Aqua Panna water was amazing so smooth and refreshing. I love their signature house salad and that it’s make your own. They sent out huge salad portions in toss it yourself bowls and tongs with the ingredients separated so that each family member can get their salad how they want it. It’s great the kids are picky only want the lettuce and croutons so can just pick that out for them and my sister loves her salad drenched in their signature Italian dressing I like mine dry so it’s perfect that’s the salad set up lets your family decide what there experience will be and the kids love to toss the salad so it adds to the laughs. We loved the music it wasn’t too loud and it didn’t feel like a cafeteria it gave it a nice ambiance. It was also pretty cool to find out that the General managers grandfather was Italian (Cioni). So pretty cool to get some Italian blood in the Olive Garden. Thank you Olive Garden for a wonderful experience and for what seems is going to be a Phenomenal crew! And thank you for entertaining the kids love that the Ziosks have unlimited games it was like 2 dollars definitely worth the peace and their happy faces. Had a great time, we’re so excited and will definitely be back with more family!

We as frequent travelers and Olive Garden always one of our go to faves. But the second you walk in the door it was freezing . Went to vehicle for jacket(as did 3 out of 4 others waiting). Don’t mind the short wait. But from here on out it felt like we were being herded like cattle in and out pas fast as possible.Ordered spaghetti and scampi. With salad/Soup. Salad barely hit the table when the entree came. I asked about the soup and he had a blank look and walked away. Within a minute here comes the soup all before we had taken a bite of the salad. I said to the waitress “Why did it come all at once”…(her)”They are very fast back there hahaha”….(me) “But now my scampi will be cold by the time I finish my soup/salad”. She just brushed it off and asked if we wanted cheese on our food. Sure enough the scampi was cold and the noodles were gummy and frankly inedible. This was not a pleasant experience. Other customers next to us asked about a/c were told it was being turned. It blasted the whole 25 minutes we were there. Would have stayed longer for coffee and dessert but it was just too cold. Our thoughts are to not return to this location

Just went yesterday around 4pm… Only waited about 10 mins. Service was great! Everyone was super nice… I had the Ministroni, salad, breadsticks and stuffed chicken Marsala with mashed potatoes… soup was ok… bread was hot and fresh… sald wasn’t bad… Whatever the chicken marsala was stuffed with was beyond burnt. Was very black… I ate some of the chicken, which had no garlic on it or Marsala… not sure what kinda cheese, but didn’t taste like mozzarella that the waitress put on it…only garlic on anything was just the bread… My mom had eggplant parm… the eggplant was good… pasta wasn’t… the sauce was too vinegary… just looking at her pasta made me not want to try it. Showed the waitress and must have been one of the higher ups who came and asked how it was. Offered to make me another one… I said that they didn’t have to.. They surprised us by taking my meal off the ticket… Waitress said it was crazy in the kitchen. I’m sure it’ll take quite a while tp hopefully get kinks worked out. Definitely not as good as the one in Lafayette. It’s as bad as the one in Shreveport. Will give it another try in 2 or 3 months and see. Giving it 3 stars just for the service.

Good Service is just as important as good food!
So me and the fam finally braved the crowd and tried out the Olive Garden here in Alexandria, and I don’t remember the last time I left a restaurant with not just a full belly, but a full heart!
Yes, the food was excellent! Everything was made well, in good time, and was served to perfection. But sometimes a good meal can be overshadowed by poor or half-hearted service.
That was not the case tonight.
Tonight, our hostess, Madelyn, was a delight from the moment we walked through the door. She adored my baby boy, Rowen, and even gave him a name badge! She said he was her Honorary Olive Garden Employee! There is nothing that warms this Mama’s heart more than seeing her baby help brighten someone’s day!
Then our server was Shenta, and she was also great! She mentioned she was tired when we asked how she was doing, but she never showed it! She checked on us constantly, and made sure we had everything we needed! She had the kind of attitude that made me want to ask for her as my waitress whenever I go back!
I didn’t get a picture of Ms. Shenta, but I got these cute pics of Rowen and Madelyn!
These are the kind of experiences that keep a place in business! Good, consistent food is important, but making your customers feel special (even when they are one of hundreds you serve in a single day) are what will keep people coming back!

I LOVE Olive Garden, but 2/10 I would not recommend this location. I can’t even give them grace because we came at a slower time. A few different things we ordered were not brought to the table, the Salmon tasted so bad we sent it back, I got one glass of water the entire hour and a half we were there, mixed drinks were 90% ice and way too sweet. We never had a manager come by our table, but yet they came to others right beside ours. I would have told them everything I put in this review. Please save your time and money and visit a different location until this one gets it together.

I absolutely love this place, the way my server handled all 3 tables by the bar amazed me so much! She got all three tables drinks at one time, came back with bread and salad for all 3 tables, got our orders put in, we laughed and talked and then boom, she’s bringing all our food out, hot and fresh. She was very professional, she knew everything about the menu and also made everything sound delicious, and everything she recommended, between all 3 tables, we ordered and enjoyed it! I took a pic of her name tag so I wouldn’t forget her name bc I def will remember her smiling face…. Thanks sheneta for the great service and the great time at Olive Garden….. SHES SUCH A SWEETHEART
