We went back on New Years Day, and I’m glad they were open!! The food here was fantastic, some of the best Indian food I’ve had in my life. Could have gone back for more food but we were on the road the next day. Staff were lovely as well, definitely visit if you’re in the area!!

The food is great but they need white wine that is not fruity and sweat. And very disappointed they don’t stock the beer on the menu nearly walked out.
And the mold in the bathroom tiles what are they thinking. It does make you wonder about the kitchen

A wonderful meal and compared to other Indian restaurants in newcastle – superior. Wine good quality and reasonable price too. I felt the service could have been better but also felt there was only one person trying to do the whole restaurant. I had onion baji , cauliflower pakora , lamb Rogan Josh and garlic cheese naan. Definitely would eat here again

I dined here yesterday, and after a long time, it felt so good to enjoy authentic Indian food again. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by one of the sweetest waitresses, sorry I didn’t catch her name..but the hospitality really stood out.

We were served by Jatin, and his service was absolutely tremendous. He was very proactive and attentive, especially when I was confused about which chapati to choose…he patiently explained the varieties …his assistance truly enhanced our dining experience.

Loved the songs…

The ambience of the restaurant is lovely..It was an amazing experience overall. Thank you to the all…I’ll definitely be back again soon… and hopefully next time, my gravy will be very spicy! ️ please

I had an amazing experience at Punjabi Pavilion Indian Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and very fresh. I ordered takeaway and the quality was still excellent. The dal makhani was rich and creamy, and the butter naan was soft and very tasty. Honestly, The service was very good, and the staff were friendly, polite, and professional. The restaurant was clean and well organised, and the overall atmosphere was very nice. I highly recommend Punjabi Pavilion Indian Restaurant to everyone who loves authentic Indian food. Special thanks to the team for the great food and service.

We have been eating Indian food for a very long time and after reading good reviews about the food we thought we would bring the Family here for a meal as we were all visiting Newcastle for the weekend.
The entrees ( mixed non veg platter) was very good. We had 5 curries between 6 of us and the helpings were generous. Naan bread was very good and the Family really enjoyed their food. My husband and I found it more suitable to non regular indian curry eaters, as the curries were a little too westernised for our taste. The lady who served us was very polite and it was hard on her because she was doing everything on her own, luckily the restaurant was not busy the night we went!!.
The stairs up to the restaurant are quite steep so if you have feet problems it may be wise not to go. All in all, a good very well priced Indian restaurant. BYO Wine only is accepted, but premises are also licensed.

It was great experience dining here, staff were very attentive and always took feedback on how was everything. We ordered soya chaap, Dal tadka, paneer Bhurji, roti and Kids menu and everything was very good. Few little things like serving a lemon as seasoning for Soya chaap would make it even better. Very happy to come back again, ambience is great, parking is easy on street.
