I’ve been coming to this restaurant for about 5 years now, and it has always been one of my favorite Haitian spots. I pretty much only order the fried turkey (tassot), and the flavor is still absolutely amazing. The seasoning, the crisp, the taste — they’ve definitely stayed consistent with quality.
However, I’ve noticed over the past several months that the portion sizes for the turkey have gotten noticeably smaller. The number of pieces in each order has decreased, and sometimes the pieces themselves are much smaller than they used to be. At the same time, the prices continue to increase.
I order from here at least twice a month, every month, so this isn’t just a one-time experience. I completely understand that food costs have gone up across the board, but it’s becoming harder to justify paying higher prices when the quantity — especially of turkey, which isn’t one of the more expensive meats on the menu — keeps shrinking.
I still love the food and truly want to continue supporting this business. I just hope they can find a better balance between pricing and portion sizes because the quality deserves loyal customers.

Really disappointed. I ordered turkey and black rice, partner ordered jerk chicken and peas and rice. Becca took the order. I paid and picked up order to learn it was incorrect. We received over cooked griot and boiled chicken, and the rice was wrong. Called back , took pictures, and Becca apologized, said kitchen made the error and she’d get a manager for refund. No manager ever called and they’re not open during the business day. After a few days, I called to speak to a manager who offered me 25% of next order because I didn’t keep the food and Becca didn’t tell them it was a problem. Gross business practices. Had I used UberEats – how would food be picked up? Rock Steady is a much better alternative for a classy consistent Haitian meal. If patrons aren’t valued, then don’t patronize the business.

The ambiance is a bit dated and the word makeshift comes to mind. The tables are very unstable and the attempts at using napkins and other things as levelers failed. The server KC was very nice and informative. Great customer service skills. As I waited for the meal to arrive I never got comfortable because the place was freezing. When I mentioned it to staff they were unsure if the heat worked and asked upper management if it could be turned on. When the food came it was lukewarm. That was to be expected because it was freezing in the establishment. The fried swai filet lacked flavor, I recommend asking for Turkey gravy or hot sauce for some added flavor. My tequila sunrises was more sunrise than anything. I’m unlikely to come back or recommend to a friend. There was a person who refused to stop staring on the parking lot when I arrived. I literally drove off and came back with a friend because I didn’t feel comfortable walking in alone in the dark.

Dear Owner,
If your business starts to sink, it won’t be because of the location, it will be because of the person representing you at the front. The customer service is extremely disappointing. There is no warmth, no updates on orders, and the attitude makes customers feel like they are a burden rather than valued guests.
On top of that, the wait time for food is consistently long with no communication.
This spot has potential, but it needs better front-facing representation and stronger management of customer experience. Right now, it feels like the business is being held back by poor service.

We paid an entry fee to dine in as they were having a party in the restaurant. Not a problem. We proceeded to order food and waited almost an hour to receive the wrong order. When it was brought to the waitress attention, instead of apologizing, she said” well you ate most of it, I’ll get the manager.” We waited what felt like eternity for someone to address the issue. Oh well! Illl be back for the music but that’s all.

I have been here for about 1 hour and 15 minutes and counting. They did not answer their phone so I came in to place my order. My first order came out about 50 minutes after ordering. They forgot one of my orders so I had to wait even longer. She rolled her eyes and sighed when I told her it was two orders not one. She did not offer an apology or nothing for the mix up. I understand that they may be understaffed but dannng!!! The meat what’s tasty but the rice was very mushy. I will never order here again.

Friends have been telling me to try this spot out for some time. Well, I did and I like it. Olé is a restaurant and lounge serving up tasty Haitian meals and music with a full bar. Come for eats or chill vibes; you are guaranteed to leave feeling better than you entered. Located towards the back of an aged shopping center there is plenty of free parking available. Pricing is in line with most ethnic eateries. Numerous seating options available whether its at the bar, booth, table or elevated VIP area. Portion sizes are plentiful.

So I have been coming to this place since 2018 not only have I patronized this place many times but I have also brought many people to this restaurant. Also, in 2019 i experienced the worst customer service I have ever experienced in life and still decide to come back and give “my people “ a chance . I had bad service again BUT when I sit at the bar , I typically have GREAT service . This one night, I came in alone and sat at the bar . I sat in for a little over 15 minutes with no one even offering me a menu . A couple employees walked by and I made eye contact and still nothing . Then one employee walked by again and at the bar and looked at me and said nothing so this time I decided ask for some service . I mentioned that i have been sitting there and no menu , no greeting nothing (i wasn’t rude or loud )! Her response was “ maam I’m the only one and you were not the fist one here “ not even a “I’m sorry about the inconvenience, I’ll be right with you “ she didn’t even offer a menu after trying to plead her “case” . Granted , I’m understanding of all that , but the approach and lack of empathy and CUSTOMER SERVICE was absolutely unacceptable. She turned around after she repeatedly said “maam we will be right with you “ no empathy or nothing! I got up and walked away and went to Long horn and had the BEST customer service! I try to give Grace because I understand people get busy but I won’t give Grace for lack of empathy and customer service CONTINUOUSLY. I will NEVER come back or bring anyone else to this establishment. Tired of making excuses for “my people “
Ps: this same server has been there for years and I have never had bad service before the few times she served me. She could have been having an off day but you never know how much “off days “ a customer has had to put up with
