The service wasn’t great and same with our food. We sat at the bar thinking we’d be served quickly but took a little over 5 minutes to even acknowledge us.
The beer was good but the margarita wasn’t made fresh, came from a pitcher that must’ve been premade from back in the kitchen.
We got chips and salsa and the chips were extremely stale. The cheese sauce was pretty decent.
Our steak quesadilla took awhile to make and came out cold with the cheese inside not melted. Also was mainly grilled vegetables with a few pieces of steak. The servers that were working were nice but we had to ask them for stuff vs them serving us.

The service it’s great. Food doesn’t come right away, because they cooked at the moment. The taste of food it’s original. The soup it’s very tasty, the pupusas are delicious. Not to mention the chicken wings, are very crunchy and good.
And the corn atole, perfect for the cold weather. I strongly recommend this restaurant, very authentic.

Came yesterday around 4:40pm. We all ordered pupusas (chicharrón w/cheese) and while I recognize it can take a while for them to cook these, we were waiting for close to 30 minutes for our food. In the meantime, they gave us chips with queso and a red sauce. The chips were stale and I did not care for the red sauce. The pupusas had good texture, good amount of cheese, but they had little chicharrón and lacked a little seasoning/ flavor. The curtido (pickled cabbage) was good.

While we were seated immediately and our server was polite, there were some areas where service fell short. When the food did come out, we still hadn’t received our cutlery. Luckily, they noticed and kindly offered to bring us some. Our server not once came back to check on us during our meal and I felt it was difficult to get his attention. However, the biggest issue I had was that an employee decided it was appropriate to put Fabuloso in a mop bucket while in the middle of service. The scent of cleaner overwhelmed the dining room and it started to give me a headache. Please refrain from using such heavily scented cleaners in a restaurant, it interferes with a diner’s experience.

All in all, while the staff were friendly, I would not come back. I hope the owner takes note and conveys some of this to their staff.

Tour around central America. Menu sections from, El Salvador, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua. Clever, very clever. The El Salvador chorizo/eggs plate is VERY delicious! Can’t put my finger on it, but there’s a distinct flavor that really keeps you wanting more!

Don’t come to this one. Go to the one in Bloomington, it’s much better service! You can order right when you walk in and go sit down. the curtido that comes with the pupusas is soo much more flavorful! I came on a Friday night and sat for 15 minutes and no one even offered me a drink!

I ordered two pupusas with beans, cheese, and chicharrón, but they only came with beans and cheese. The flavor was disappointing, with the saltiness of the cheese being the only seasoning in the whole dish. For our pupusas, the salsa was that was served in a squeeze bottle was so watery it might as well have been only water. On top of that, they charge extra for regular salsa, which is surprising for a Latin restaurant, also we were genuinely just trying to switch to a diffrent salsa since the one they served us was disgusting.

Service was slow, and the waiters barely checked in on us unless the owner told them to, when the waiter asked if i wanted utensils i had told them yes, they proceeded to go to the host stand and talk with their coworkers and genuinely forgot about me lol, it wasn’t until the owner came over and asked if i needed utensils and ordered her to give me some i finally able to eat. The restaurant itself didn’t feel clean tbh my menu had a corner covered in some kind of gunky white paste, which was really off-putting. I also saw one of the staff eating in the kitchen while working. The whole experience left me feeling nauseous, and honestly, nothing about the food sat well with my stomach.

Overall, the place felt really dirty, the food was gross, and the service wasn’t good. Definitely not a spot I’d recommend or return to unfortunately

Bring Google translate. The waitress couldn’t understand our order but at least she got 1 of them right. She also never took drink orders but water is fine with me but also never came to refill it even though we’re the only ones there. Pretty expensive for the quantity of food given. The food itself was ok but the chips were stale and salsa was runnier than water. Lesson learned.

I was there today with my mom and my grandma. My mom and I got enchiladas and they were Horrible. An enchilada should not taste completely like a Caesar salad. I have been to many Mexican restaurants, and this was the first one where I couldn’t taste any Mexican at all in the enchilada. The refried beans were barely warm and the rice was not done all the way. This was the way it was for both our enchilada plates. They kept the sour cream off my plate, which I asked for, but my mom still wanted sour cream, and I asked for mine on the side to give to her, and neither of us got any thing

My grandma got her chimichanga and she said there was hardly any flavor at all. There was too much rice and it was just very different.

If you’re looking for a Mexican restaurant to go to, go any place but here. Trust me.
