Ridiculously small portions. Chicken Tikka for 7 JDS is half a chicken breast cut into chunks. They pick the smallest containers for the curries.
And it’s not like the food is good, the food is way too spicy and not much taste beyond that.
Never again.

We ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, lamb biryani, and sambosa. Honestly, the food was very average compared to the prices. What really disappointed us was that we scanned the QR code on the table, and the prices on the website were completely different from the receipt – almost doubled (not including taxes). This felt very misleading, and it should have been clearly mentioned. The service was good and the place itself looks nice, but unfortunately the food is not worth the price. Probably won’t come back.

A special thank you to our waiter, Ismail, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made great recommendations, checked on us just the right amount, and truly enhanced our evening with his warm service.
We’ll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend this gem to anyone craving excellent Indian cuisine.

Service was very slow. Waiting time was more than the eating time. Took a long time to get the appetizers. Main dishes were good. The nan or Indian bread was excellent which is their specialty. The name of the restaurant is called Tandoori which is how they make the bread. But don’t try the tea (Marsala tea). They said it would take 15 minutes but it took 20 minutes to cook.

It used to be my favorite Indian restaurant in Amman but unfortunately now, it is the WORST in Amman.
Biryani rice was coated with spices to a point you can’t eat it and Meat vindalo was extremely bitter. There is no flavour in there only spices with zero taste.
Don’t even think about spending a penny in this restaurant!

One of the worst Indian food experiences I’ve had.
The food at Tandoori Oven Restaurant is nowhere close to real Indian cuisine. Nothing tasted authentic, flavorful, or even acceptable. I honestly don’t understand how this place is still in business, probably because there isn’t a strong Indian food–loving population nearby to know the difference.
The tandoori naan was so hard it felt like chewing rubber, almost impossible to bite. The samosas were tiny, overpriced, and tasted awful, with no proper seasoning or freshness. Every single dish we tried lacked basic Indian flavors. No spices, no depth, no authenticity.
