The latest visit was no different. The Men’s bathroom is foul- even when attempting to touch nothing with your hands- the faucet handles are greasy and have pubes around the base. The sink area in general is disgusting and appears to have been that way for a long period. If you do manage to wet your hands you can follow that up with no paper towels as well. You could deficate on the floor here and it would feel natural and track with surroundings. In an attempt to notify the older woman cleaning the dining area- she pretended to not hear my voice and turned away. I repeated myself and asked if she could indeed hear me. She acknowledged and I let her know the bathroom is in very poor shape. She told me she would notify a manager. At this point we had our food at the table, ready for consumption. While eating and in my direct view- the woman began removing the trash bin from the cabinet- pretty normal task I figured. However, the garbage bags were placed on the floor next to a table of women. She left the bags and proceeded to place new bag after new bag (times x6) into the bin. Once finished she took the full garbage bags and picked them up 3 feet and rammed them against the floor as if to compact the trash. This went on several times right next to the full table. I was nearly finished with my sandwich after front row viewing of this crass, tasteless performance from the staff. I decided to walk back to front counter to make sure the bathroom issue was addressed. I was then told “Well, I cannot go in there because I’m a female. I will let mgmt know.” I also made a comment about the woman ‘cleaning up’ the dining room. The same girl tells me, “Yeah, we have gotten a ton of complaints about her.”
There’s something seriously amiss at this location and I will have to assume the management is to blame. I myself, will never enter this establishment again until there is proof of new ownership.
However, I tried to place and order at the counter last Tuesday and the manager Dom wouldn’t even look at me to take my order. I would understand, but she had been taking a line of orders and couldn’t be bothered to even say hello and ask me to wait. Is this how we get treated after we stop working there?
