Chips and salsa weren’t even an option which was a major bummer. Not even on the menu. Not a ton of options on the menu but a decent amount. Could be a bit cheaper for some options but it appeared to be just a husband and wife working and the restaurant is in the middle of nowhere so a little higher price makes sense. Water came in a bottle which honestly I didn’t mind because city water is nasty. No options to get beans and rice with entrees which I’ve not seen either. The dining area and bathroom appeared clean. The man who waited on us kind of just stayed behind the counter waiting to be asked for stuff and it was a little awkward but he was nice and polite when we interacted with him. Pozole was good but zero spice which it needed. Birria, Asada and Pastor tacos were actually really good but the Nopales was awful. They make their own tortillas which held up great to the tacos. I think of I went back I would just get those 3 tacos to go.

The food here is absolutely amazing. I have tried a ton of mexican restaurants, and this is by far the best quesabarilla i have ever had. The sauces are bar none, tortillas crispy, and meat is so tender. I recommend giving this place a try!

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place. It is delicious, hand made tortillas, the salsa is wonderful as well, everything tasted very fresh and the owners are very nice.

You need to go try this quaint authentic Mexican restaurant out! They’re my Momma’s neighbors and the food is incredible and the prices are incredibly reasonable! You won’t be disappointed!
