Great family run fast food shack that delivers fantastic burgers, cheesesteaks, fries, tots and other fast food favorites. It is located right next to the Atomic Blue Motel, and is a very convenient place for its guests to get a hearty meal at a reasonable price without having to drive from the motel.
There are outdoor tables available for eating when the weather is nice. But the primary business appears to be takeaway orders. This can be a small problem if you visit them in person and happen to place your order just after they have received a call in order. There is only space for one cook to make the burgers and cheesesteaks and you may have to wait a while for the call in order to be completed before they can get to making your order.
Everything is served in large portions so you will be quite satiated by a single burger or cheesesteak complimented with a side of fries or tots.

A unique side of the road spot. It was very busy on a Fri night but worth the wait. The prime cheesesteak with made-from-scratch horsey sauce was the best Philly-type sandwich I’ve ever had! Husband raved about the BLT. Everything made fresh, seasoned perfectly, generous portions. This is REAL food!

An affordable and pleasant place to eat especially when on a road trip.
$20 for two people to eat and the portions were great. The BLT was a perfectly executed classic and the pulled pork was well seasoned. They told us what was on each dish and let us make some adjustments for an allergy.
I especially loved sitting under the tree at the comfy chairs and tables it was a peaceful lunch after a long time in a car.
I will definitely be planning my future trips to land me in Monticello to eat at Prime Eats.

Great little grill/diner with great food!
The burgers were great as were the fries and loaded nachos.
Highly recommend the spicy queso (on the nachos)!
Unfortunately the brisket and pork weren’t yet ready for the day- but maybe a reason to return?
Definitely recommend a stop if you’re around Monticello!

We stopped in looking for a quick snack, and this place did not disappoint. Look at these tenders! Best I’ve had in a while.
A true must-stop in Monticello—friendly service, hot and delicious food, and impressively fast. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to come back!

Delicious food and the best people! Stopped by on a roadtrip and had to try. The burgers were so fresh and tasty. Dan let us sample the chili…. WOW. Made this Texan smile!!! His brisket is amazing, made me wish I made more stomachs. Such a beautiful couple providing some damn good food. It’s a must to stop by. Can’t wait to see them next year when we are back! Thank you Dan and Phoebe!!!! Much love from Fort Worth Texas!!!!

While on a 1400 mile road trip to Moab, and a week of restaurant dining, we stumbled upon this place. I dont know what food options exist in Monticello, but I highly doubt anything comes close to this place. And while I’m at it, our group of 6 travelers unanimously decided that of all the food we’ve had on our trip, this place takes the prize. It was that good.
The brisket piled on top of the Loaded Tots was a group favorite. I split a Burger and a brisket cheese sandwich, and they were both exceptional! I think the burger might have been my favorite of the two, but it was close. The burger patty was perfectly cooked with just a touch of pink visible. No dry meat here. The brisket was nicely smoked and still moist.
Honestly this was amazing. The outside seating was under an awesome shade tree. Thanks guys. Im sad I was only passing through the town. There is always next year for us, because we will be back!

Eating outside on the grass was nice. The menu was great. The food was well prepared. I wish there were curly fries. Tried the pull pork and the Royal w/ cheese (Pulp Fiction reference? *chef’s kiss). It was great. Love the new place.

Cute new spot in Monticello! I greatly appreciated that they were open on Sunday & love the location! All seating is outside, with a large shade tree keeping many tables out of the sun. Both people I interacted with were friendly, and provided quick service.
Spicy fried pickles were 11.00 for 7 spears. Not bad overall – good flavor & nice and crispy. They were definitely pricey.

Great place right off the main road. The owners are the nicest people. We had the burgers and fries. I will say that it was the best burger I have had in years!! They have great outdoor seating either in the sun or in the shade. Will definitely stop by again next trip to Moab. The bbq items looked and smelled great even though I didn’t have that. The fries had a great seasoning on them and so did the burger. The burger was charred perfectly. I definitely recommend.
