I’ve been a loyal Lemongrass fan for years and have never been disappointed. Since moving from Overland Park to Liberty, it’s been a while since my last visit, but I met up with a friend last night and was absolutely blown away by every dish we tried.
You absolutely must start with the pork eggrolls—they’re incredible! I ordered the red curry, my friend had the Pad Thai, and my daughter enjoyed the Pad See Ew. Every single dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.
We finished the meal with their Sweet Purple Sticky Rice with Ice Cream—a dessert we had never tried before. At first, I was a bit skeptical just by looking at it, but it turned out to be so delicious that we wished we had ordered a second serving!
I’ve tried many Thai restaurants around the area, but Lemongrass remains my favorite by far. The owner, Tony, is incredibly kind, and the whole staff is welcoming and attentive. It’s definitely worth the 40-minute drive any day!

If you like Thai, this is definitely a place you should check out. Actually even if you don’t, you might find that you do like Thai here! whether you’re coming for lunch or dinner it is a classy spot with a full bar. The prices are good and the service is good as well. The food is top-notch. I ordered a vegetable yellow curry medium spice. It was just right served with a delicious soup as well as white rice cooked to perfection. I will definitely be coming back again.

Amazing authentic Thai food. Our server barely spoke English, which I consider a positive attribute to the authenticity of the food. Lemon grass trio was a perfect appetizer and the 3 sauces were a fabulous addition to each portion of the dish. And the lemongrass margarita was great

A local Overland Park gem for years. Fast & attentive service. DELICIOUS Thai cuisine. Our server was fantastic & funny; he said I looked like Paul Mitchell. I was ‘Mr. Paul’ the rest of the evening. Can’t wait to return! Cheers!

Best papaya salad we’ve had! Pineapple fried rice was exceptional and my husband thought it was the best bowl of pho he’s had too! Also, got the pork spring rolls. Really good along with the dipping sauce.

SO GOOD. Everything is so delicious, I try something different every time and have never been disappointed. I love the crispy tofu, and the Mussaman Curry is super tasty if you like peanuts! Which you should. Unless you’re allergic. If only I ever saved room for dessert.

Lemongrass Thai is THE BEST place for a relaxing date night. The service isn’t rushed and the food is fantastic!! There’s a dozen fancy drinks and some great (normal) sized desserts to enjoy along with your meal.

The service and food at Lemongrass were amazing. My dish was a bit too spicy. Our waitress, Vie, wasted no time getting us another entree to replace it, without me even asking!! They strive to make it an amazing experience. Also, it is a very clean restaurant.
