This burger place is a great spot for a quick, satisfying bite. I ordered the Classic Double with cheese, and it was juicy, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fries were also hot and crispy, service was fast and the casual vibe makes it ideal for a relaxed lunch or late bite.

Was working at SC and walked across the street for a quick bite. At first I thought Softies was ice cream but glad it was a burger spot. The staff was kind and the spot was cool for a burger spot. We tried the:
Cali: nice and fresh
Crispy Shroom: the mushrooms were delicious and fried perfectly. Such a nice texture
Fries: meh
Peppercorn ranch: okay
Aji: DELICIOUS!

Softies totally lived up to the hype! We tried The Cali, The Aji, and the Crispy Shroom — all solid, but The Aji was the winner with that jalapeño and aioli combo . Definitely recommend the double patty on the Shroom for a better balance. Loaded tots (Aji style) were a must, and the Orange Bang + Limonada combo hit the spot!
Even during a hectic lunch rush and a tech hiccup, the staff was friendly, calm, and on top of it all. Clean space, great energy, and bonus points for the pet-friendly patio. We’ll be back!

We were waiting for the cod burger, but it ran out just before us. I got the Cali and it was nice but I will have to go back for the cod and see what all the fuss about it is cause it had a long queue and it doesn’t have stores anywhere else.
Update: I had the cali, aji and the cod and the aji is definitely THE best!!! It has a little kick to it with the jalapeño and cilantro sauce(which you can’t really tell there’s cilantro inside). God this is amazing. Their new location is in the USC village and is so pretty in good weather

I went there on July, Sunday 27th. I bought a chopped cheese sandwich. I waited 43 minutes and my order was still not made, so I asked them how long more, and he said there are a few order before mine and the other girl offered me an orange juice to wait and the guy offered me a refund and I was about to take the refund when they gave me a “sandwich,” at home I was so hungry that I ate the first half without noticing that it was the WRONG order! They chopped off a burger and placed it inside a hot dog bun, NO CHEESE, and almost nothing else in there! That is not worth $17 especially after waiting 43 mins. Yeah, I timed it and wasn’t even crowded. Very frustrated and angry about this experience. I don’t know if they treated me like this because I’m not a student or why. Terrible service!

Great! Aji burger was so goood
Definitely tasted like a “korean” burger which i loved.
But the fries were extremely salty.
The drink was great too.

These guys have an amazing story, going from a pop up to a full restaurant. I’ve been following them since I tried their burger last year, so when I heard they were at USC Village, I had to stop by. They completely transformed the space into an old school yet modern diner with great music. The burger is stacked with two smash beef patties, melted cheese, jalapeño poppers, and a creamy ají verde sauce that adds tons of flavor. This place checks all the boxes for me and is easily a 10 out of 10

Softies kind of describes the flavor. The meat patties here are very small you get a lot more toppings than meat.
