Casual, family-owned Cajun restaurant with a seafood-centric menu & a bar with weekday happy hours.

This restaurant has became one of my boy’s favorites. The food is always amazing—like the buttery shrimp pasta, fish tacos, fresh pineapple smoothies, and dessert…it really feels like a mini vacation. We especially love their dry ice cleaning experience, which totally wowed my kid. The servers drop dry ice into a bottle of water, creating lots of bubbly steam that can be used to clean hands and even get rid of odors. Such a clever idea! My son absolutely loved it.

Louis was our server. I ordered a cucumber lemonade, half a dozen oysters, the New York steak, a pound of shrimp, and a pound of mussels, all seasoned with Cajun lemon garlic spice. It was perfectly spicy and delicious! I also got 3 chicken breasts and fries for my kid. On Veteran’s Day, they offer a 20% discount on seafood, which is really cool.

Lunch menu and happy hour can’t be beat at this New Orleans style food. If you’re craving for po’ boys, gumbo, and oysters, this is THE place. It won’t break your bank too. Happy hour oysters are still only $1.25.

The food was delicious. We had a variety of things. I enjoyed the most the Brussels Caesar salad with Cajun shrimp and the lemon pepper wings. We had margaritas that were wine- based and surprisingly . Husband and friends at the table had the seafood boil, gumbo, shrimp tacos and beignets. We loved everything. We were the last to leave that night. Service was great and the atmosphere was cool. It’s a small little restaurant. Worth the ride out to Brea.

Arrived at opening so there was no wait to be seated. Plenty of food options on the menu, more than I remembered from when they opened years ago. The Caesar salad is entree size. They offer chicken fingers for the kids and chicken for the people who don’t eat fish. Their speciality is shrimp and crab in the bag like a boil where you pour it on the table or you can eat yours individually. Their speciality shrimp was $18.99lb plus $2 if you wanted your shrimp peeled. Snow crab was $29lb. These prices are market prices so they fluctuate. King crab if I remember correctly is $69lb. Service was great. Also, I recommend the beignets, they are yummy and add the strawberries.

Wow, just wow. The food here was so flavorful. The place is very unassuming. It is set up like a local pizzeria, but the food quality and service are straight up 5 stars. Our server was lovely and on point. The portions are large. The mojitos were perfect. I spent two weeks all over the LA and San Diego area and this place was, by far, my favorite spot. Do yourself a favor and visit this place, you won’t be sorry.

The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t exceptional either. I had the Mac and cheese with sausage, it stated andouille sausage but it tasted like regular smoked sausage from the store. The Mac and cheese itself was doable seemed more like a cheesey boxed not like homemade. I saw a few people ordering the boil with seafood sausage, corn and potatoes. I think that might be their most popular item that people order. Our server was nice her name was Natalie, it didn’t get very busy while I was there average about 4-5 tables full. The restaurant was clean and it’s centrally located, lots of parking. If you’re in the mood for a seafood boil and you’re willing to try this place, I think you should.

Great food. Great service. Fresh food. Only complaint is they don’t have Amazon prime and we couldn’t watch the Bears vs Packers game. I got the garlic noodles with shrimp and sausage and my son got the salmon with rice and fries. Really good!!
