I can’t say enough about how much I love Kraken Joe’s Pizza! My husband and I live in Clearwater and I drive out of my way to St. Pete to get this pizza. It’s thin, brick oven pizza. The flavor and texture is perfect! I always get the roasted garlic base, mozz cheese, baby Bella mushrooms, and Roma tomatoes and it is SO amazing! My husband gets the meat lovers and he loves that, too. 100/10. Best pizza joint ever!

around the outside and inside the building. The pizza is from an oak-fired brick oven so the crisp crust and even some burnt edges were DELICIOUS. Meatballs are homemade and cooked inside the oven as well as the Brussel sprouts!The craft beer here is great too! I had the mango Joe a mango ipa and then the German Pilsner which was crisp and clean. Others had the strawberry blonde ale and the sour which were delicious too according to them, such a perfect night and wide open space for a place in St Pete. The kids played around and were safe.
You can’t get their beer and pizza m anywhere but at this spot so it’s exclusive but worth the trip! I heard a band that night that was insanely good, they bring in great live music too!

Kraken Joe’s has a fun environment as part of Cage Brewing and the employees were very helpful, but the pizza just wasn’t very good. The crust had potential, but the pizza was overcooked with burned crust and completely dried out and burnt pepperoni. Fortunately we requested additional sauce based on another review stating that the sauce was light. Had we not gotten the additional sauce the pizza would have been even worse.

Kraken Joe’s Pizza in St. Pete is legit the best pizza in the Berg. The crust has that perfect crunch 0 flop! Ingredients are fresh, and the whole place has a laid-back, local vibe. They brew their own beer, have live music on the regular, and have pinball machines that add to the fun. Friendly staff, fast service, and seriously good pizza. Definitely worth checking out.

Came for lunch on a chill Saturday afternoon. Great place for some drinks and hanging out. We got the meatlovers pizza and the crust was fantastic. However all the toppings made the pizza incredibly salty. I picked off all the pieces to manage to finish and enjoy the crust. I’d return back and try another pizza.

Service is absolutely perfect. Pizza came out even better than expected and without having to wait forever even though it was very busy!! Bonus points for having a dog menu.
