Be patient – Luis works hard back there, and the food is totally worth the wait. We’re thrilled to have found this hidden gem and will definitely be coming back whenever we’re in town!

This is THE only place to get good Mexican food in great falls, I tell every single person I know about this restaurant. The owner is the most delightful person I’ve ever met and his passion is reflected in his food. And you will get SO MUCH FOOD for your money. This place is amazing. We are from out of town. Just spending the night in Great Falls. We tried to get food at the restaurant across the parking lot. Got to that restaurant just as they were closing and was turned away. We noticed this taco shop next to the casino and thought we would try it. The owner was getting ready to close, but he took our orders and spent time talking to us after the food was prepared. The food was amazing. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Even the chips were amazing. This is currently a one-man operation. I would not consider it fast food, but the food is wonderful. Well worth the wait. And if he has time to talk, that makes the experience even better. I’m currently over 700 mi away, and wish I was closer. I hope he is still in business the next time I drive through Montana, definitely worth the effort to eat there.

I finally found my favorite Mexican spot! The portion sizes are perfect for those tacos and all. I even had to put the leftovers in the fridge. The beef quesadilla had so much flavor. The grilled chicken potato tacos are full of flavor. It took me a while to find a place full of flavor and this is it. The salsa alone that comes with the chips and quesadilla was so delicious. This is going to become my regular Mexican spot. I’m so happy I found this place and I never mind waiting for really good food. When the to go order came out I was surprised how big the order was but I guess today I was a big back. Thank you, the owner works really hard and long hours (wish I had cash on me so I could’ve tipped but next time I’ll bring some) so please show your appreciation. 🙂

Have you spent a lot of wasted time driving around trying to find decent Mexican food in Great Falls only to be disappointed? Have you given up hope that you will ever find something that satisfies your taste buds and doesn’t leave you frustrated? If so, may I suggest 9th Street South Taco Shop. The owner was very hospitable and definitely focused on the true Mexican flavors that we all long for. The spices and freshness of his work is wonderfully blended together that leaves you wanting more. We finally have a place here that will be a staple of what love for what you do mixed with attention to detail equals a very satisfied customer.

I had the shredded beef nachos and chimichanga. You get a lot of food for a reasonable price. One of the best Mexican food places I’ve had. Louie makes all of the food from scratch. Spends long hours making sure people get a good meal. Well worth the stop and the food doesn’t disappoint.

The best Mexican food in Great Falls! Never disappoints and always hits the happy spot in my tummy. The tostadas are my favorite. Make sure you call ahead or expect a wait. They get busy at meal hours and it’s usually just the one owner guy holding down the fort!
