I haven’t been to the 99 in years. I stopped in for lunch to grab some smothers sirloin tips. My friend got the new French dip sandwich. I also enjoyed their new banana foster cheesecake. My waitress was superb super friendly, checked on me a bunch. It wasn’t super loud, the gentle chatting a folks around me.

Ordered the chicken teriyaki with a side of mashed potatoes and rice pilaf. My littles had Mac and cheese with FF and broccoli. The food was served promptly and packed with flavor. Our server Adrianna was very attentive and very sweet to my littles and I. I look forward to coming back.

My waitress was so kind caring and served our food with love. Very attentive with her service. She was always available when we need her. I forgot her name and she deserved a big shout out. My grand kids enjoy their birthday lunch at 99. I wish we had one in NYC. Drink lovers I enjoyed the mango Mai Thai . You must tried .

I was going to write a long detailed unfavorable review based on my initial experience but deleted it, knowing that while initially our first interaction with the hostess was not great, our waitress Aimee made up for it all. Aimee was absolutely AMAZING, personable, fun, and just super kind and attentive. She took care of our party of 10 so well! Thank you for making the rest of our experience a FAN-tastic one! I’d visit again if I could ensure that Aimee would be helping us out. This rating is specially for and because of Aimee!

5 handicapped spaces by the door all taken. 5 completely empty takeout spaces also by door. Makes sense. Make handicapped people park farther away from the door so able bodied staff can run stuff out to cars quickly. We used to go to Cromwell all the time. They closed. We go to wallingford when it’s convenient. Or we did…
Ordered fish and shrimp meal. Got equivalent of 2 child’s fishsticks and 5 shrimp. Portions used to be great. I’d rather pay more. But to pay almost double and get less than half… It did taste good. Waitress was nice.

Well….. overall experience : bad
Order a ribeye ,loaded bake potato ,a house salad and strawberry lemonade….
Steak was chewy ,even though order medium well ,was over cook ,no flavor…..
Baked potato was ok……didnt enjoy my food…….as returning to restaurant a no…..recomending it another no….. $32 for it ? not worthy

One of the better sit down chain restaurants in New England. The service is always good, the food always consistently excellent. They have a kids menu with the usual fare. This chain offers great value.

Decent chain restaurant. Had their ribeye which came out good. Rest (potato and salad) were par. Personally not a fan of the popcorn which was stale.

Hostess had an attitude because I asked her to sit away from the restrooms. Our waiter (Andrew) literally took the plate while my husband was eating his appetizer. When we walked out, three staff (women) were up front chatting away. Not one wished us a goodnight. Our entire meal was rushed and the entire restaurant wasn’t even full or busy. Ridiculous.
