I ordered the steak but it ended up being ground beef. I guess I should have read the fine print instead of just looking at the specials menu which said “steak” under the photo and telling the waiter that looks good, I’ll try the steak. 🙂

Our waiter was friendly and attentive. 99 Restaurants are one of my granddaughter’s favorite places to go when she visits. They are currently offering some new menu options. I have usually found the food to be good. I tend to lean towards salads or bowls. I gave a 4 star rating because this particular 99 is definitely in need of some maintenance TLC. I would suggest starting with the restrooms.

The food was good, but the portion they gave my husband for his steak tip meal was not worth the money. He had maybe 3 small pieces and I shared my meal with him so he wouldn’t leave hungry. The waitress this day was Susan P. and she was a very friendly waitress with outstanding service. I hope they appreciate her because when we go back I want her for our waitress.

Today I had their seafood trio. Very flavorful. I also ordered a side of roasted rice cauliflower and a side of slaw.
6/2024 – saw an ad for their ribs combo. My husband loved it.
I got the delicious seafood stuffie appetizer and the country fried steak chicken.
8/12/2025 – I went for the filet mignon special. Everything was tasty. The steak was tender and flavorful. I ordered it medium well. I sliced it open (see photo) to see how it was cooked. One half was medium welk, and the other half was medium. I was amused by the clear demarcation.

Our waitress’s name was Hailey and she was AWESOME. Our appetizer, drinks and food came out fast and hot. The food tasted great. We did not have any complaints. Great job 99. We will definitely be back.

This restaurant has a great selection of food , all for reasonable prices. Food portions are filling and the food is very good . Happened to have a pot pie. It was delicious . They have the best steak tips , gold fever wings are bomb, and some really great dishes. Definitely one of the better franchise restaurants around.

Fantastic! We said we wouldn’t go to a chain while visiting up north and then 99 appeared on the google maps and we said sure. They have alchohol. Well, beer and wine but it’s all we need so let’s visit some old memories. So good! Chicken parm and ceasar salad. Great
