We did a day trip from New Jersey to drop off my oldest at the ferry. Afterwards we were starving. Found this as the nearest place to eat. Our party of 4 were seated almost immediately, greeted by the lovely Elizabeth who is the epitome of efficiency and courteous service. This was our first time in this restaurant and we were very pleased with all the food ordered. I had fish and chips, perfect fish to batter ratio. Son had chicken fried steak and garlic mashed potatoes, said it was the best he ever had, he especially loved the biscuit the platter came with. Nice, fluffy and not at all dry. Daughter had the salmon plate and it was prepared wonderfully. Friend had the chicken wrap which was huge and came with a side of fries. We also had dessert. Kids enjoyed the skillet cookie a la mode, a chocolate chip cookie in a cast iron pan with a huge dollop of ice cream. I had the key lime pie which was the perfect blend of sweet and tart. Overall a great dining experience and we’ll definitely be back if we are ever in the area.

Had a very good cheeseburger here when I went and not only that but was waited on by probably the nicest most beautiful bartender I’ve ever seen in any 99. Overall great dining experience. Thank you to the nice bartender as well.

I ordered a 12 oz NY strip and Cesar salad… 25 minutes later they let me know they are out of Cesar salad while bringing out my steak. I ordered the steak medium well.. wouldn’t mind if it came out medium.. but it came out rare.. it’s not rocket science.. I ended getting a house salad which I didn’t want or eat and still paid for the salad and left a tip equal to the $5 salad that was frozen by the way.. if your down here or swing by.. find somewhere that actually cares about the food they serve and the service they provide. Pretty sure I might have caught them on the wrong day. So dine at your own risk.

Food was fine. For out of towners, this is basically Applebee’s with a Boston flavor. Price was fine for the food and service. Waitress was super nice and funny; just took a while to get our food and when we asked for things like silverware that also took a while.

The steak tip order should have come with broccoli, and what they gave wasn’t even a serving. It was 3 small florets and a few pieces. I asked for no blue cheese crumbles on my gold fever mac, and it came with blue cheese crumbles.

Ever go to a relative’s house but know you need to eat first? This was perfect. Got a healthy meal curbside and was set for the day. Just set the time you arrive and they will bring it right out. Salad was fresh and the chicken fajita bowl was delicious. First time I used the curbside meal drop off and they were there within 2 minutes of our arrival time. No need to take the kids out but skipped an unhealthy fast food meal.
