I love the 99. I wish there were more. But tonight was not a good night for this location. No setup. Flat beer. No napkins. The French onion soup was almost entirely absorbed in the two(!) whole slices of bread in the crock. I know it wasn’t long before close but it just wasn’t good.

This place has become an increasingly big disappointment. I’m not sure if there is new management, but this place is not what it once used to be. The food is always hit or miss. There are times the food is great, but plenty of bad experiences too. Below is a picture of a “salad” of some sort. I don’t know if the kitchen was trying to be fancy, but I’ve never had a salad that looked like this at any 99 restaurant in New England. It was terrible. Train your wait staff to be more attentive too. The service is usually pretty bad… unless you’re at the bar.

Service very. slow, took half hour to get our order my food had to be replaced not cooked as ordered. We wasted a lot of time waiting and no explanation offered.

The service was amazing and the restaurant had a great vibe to it. My server was Greg and he was very nice. I went out with my family and my mom has a fish allergy but someone near us had ordered fish and she was feeling uncomfortable. Greg and the staff were very kind about this and moved us away from the area so we could have a great experience. I really appreciate how seriously they took our concern and how hospitable they were towards me and my family. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
