You can spend a great time here, we also had a Sangría and the bourbon cocktail! Basically, the entire experience was great, the service was excellent and we end up going home very happy!
Very recommended for tourist and locals to try the Danvers 99, and enjoy all of the promos!
We will comeback! For sure!
Those mozzarella moons were absolutely noteworthy
(Sorry I forgot to get a picture before I packed up)
It was out of stock. Tried a seasonal Sam Adams but didn’t enjoy it. Ended up having a soda with dinner.
Dinner was interesting at best.
Started with a popcorn appetizer which was placed on the table when we sat down. I ordered a seafood medley with a rice pilaf. The medley came in a boat shaped dish that had melted cheese over fish and scallop chunks with a half inch of water over that. I swear-every bite had to be dried off before eating. I made it about half way through before eating the rice and giving up. My Wife had the fish and chips which she said were bland.
We decided to have dessert so the evening wouldn’t be a total loss. We had two different tarts and they were OK. Probably won’t return.
I ordered a New York strip steak cooked medium well, paired with mashed potatoes and a house salad. The salad was fresh and enjoyable, but unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for the rest of the meal. The mashed potatoes lacked seasoning, felt airy, and were served on the dry side. The steak, which should have been the star of the plate, also fell flat—it was underwhelming in flavor and didn’t deliver the richness you’d expect from a New York strip.
Overall, while the service was fine, the food didn’t leave much of a lasting impression. I hope the kitchen takes more care in seasoning and execution, because the potential is certainly there.
