We ordered the French onion soup which is one of my favorite items on there menu, but it had too much cheese and not enough liquid so it was kind of mushy but flavorful. The haddock was bad but they replaced with with chicken pot pie which was good but they charged us. Waitress commented she took the fish off the bill. Like we would pay for bad fish! They seated us next to window which was very drafty but they moved us to the middle seats, still seemed cold in restaurant but better. Host was very nice man and tried to help us. We wouldn’t be visiting this location again.

The Caesar Salad with Balsamic Salmon and New York Strip was excellent! Our server, Miss Laura, was very welcoming and spot-on with her suggestions. We’ll definitely be back at this location.

Have been coming to this location since I was a toddler, I am now 27 years old. The food and service is always incredible. But I’d like to add that Laura is one of the best waitresses around. She always has a smile and great attitude. Makes coming here feel like eating at home with the family with everyone so welcoming.

I ordered a honey barbecue chicken wrap with no tomatoes and a side of broccoli instead of french fries. Instead, I got a honey barbecue chicken wrap with lots of tomatoes and french fries. I doubt they will actually refund my meal.

So. Long story short I’m allergic to shellfish. I came here a few weeks ago and sat at the bar. I told the bartender I was allergic to shellfish. I explained I can’t have cross contamination and asked if that was possible. They explained they could serve me. I then ordered something and went through every precaution. The manager did not bring my food over the bartender did. I then started eating and broke out in hives. I use to come here all the time and my finances friend usually works at the bar. But it was not her who served us that night. I called to ask if his friend was working because I know she would make sure my allergy was properly managed there. I was then laughed at by the hostess and when I stressed that I had an allergy last time she goes “oh I’m sorry do you want my manager” I told her yes. Then the phone was disconnected. My fiancé tried to call to find out the same thing and when the manager came on the phone to talk to him she proceeded to then yell at him and hang up on him.
Now I understand the point of not saying who is working but i explained my issues and that this was the reason for asking as I want to be safe and I hustled don’t find this to be respectable or professional of their customers. This place has really gone down hill. Better off going to the one on Middlesex turnpike. We won’t be back.

I love how local it feels, with pictures up of the high school teams and other town-related decor.

The moment we walked in we were greeted by the most wonderful waitress. She was so attentive and sociable. She was so attentive to the point that we thought she was psychic! She brought extra oyster crackers for the kids which at other 99s the kids would steal my husbands oyster crackers. She asked if my daughters wanted adult size drinks which is an inside joke with our family since they always get these kids drinks and gulp it down in seconds. She was very complimentary and food was served fast. We all stated it was our best experience at a 99. Thank you
