4/13/25 1pm. This place is a big money pit and a true joke!!!! It was empty, we stood for at least 10 minutes waiting to be seated while listening to the bartender with rhe attitude loudly unproffesionally popping her gum so loud we could hear it at the hostess stand!! There was a gentlemen in front of us and he was disgusted!! Said he been waiting for a manger for 30 min. We finally were seated and our waitress ALLISON wanted to know what we wanted to drink. She then completely forgot about us to go over to where the man was at the counter complaining to the manager that finally showed up so she could be nosey. We finally got our drink and waited for food, tenders and nachos. Robot came, waitress was cleaning table and was literrally going to pick our plates up with her dirty hands from the dirty rag? Are you kidding me?? Tenders were good nachos barely had cheese. ALLISON NEVER asked would we like a refill or anything. Again, place was empty! She brought bill we very early. We gave her player cards and then she came back and said we have a balance. Ok, we knew we would. We weren’t even halfway done eating. So, we didn’t give her a credit card yet. As I watched her she went to the hostess and told her to watch us cuz we still owed. I laughed and then finally said something! I told her she will get paid can we finish first!!! What turned out to be a special occasion turned out to be a run down environment from hotel, casino, and restaurant with the worst service that there could possible. She lost her 30% tip and I hope she loses her job eventually! We are adults and have no time for these entitled employees that have no idea what great customer service is! We are so disappointed in HOLLYWOOD and wouldnt be surprised in closings as other casinos have already done!! Please spare the blanket apology as professionalism starts at the top! Should have read the reviews before entering. Shame on us!!

Well, I’m not one to usually give one star reviews, but… ALL the food we got was cold. I ordered buffalo chicken and it was room temperature and pink inside. I got scared to eat the rest after a few bites.
The menu is very limited. See the attached photo… We ended up ordering just appetizers.
Some of our group got the pretzel sticks (also cold). It also took about 20 minutes to get this cold food.
Tried ordering a cocktail, but they were “out”…
Overall, these appetizer meals for 5 people had a bill around $100 (before tip). You see that slice of watermelon? $4.00.
Overall: Not worth it. Go anywhere else.

This restaurant was packed thanks to all the Shania Twain fans eating before taking the shuttle to the concert. We were seated fairly quickly at a high top which we picked so that we could see outside. We had an efficient waitress who took great care of us. Our pulled pork nachos came out quickly so we were in and out of there in probably 40 minutes or so. Overall a great experience! We did get there early so that did help with getting seated pretty fast.

Nice place to grab a bite to eat if your at the Hollywood Casino. Hops house is one of 4 or 5 restaurants in the Hollywood Casino center and is usually open when the others are not. Beer is good as is the food. It took a while to get a server but maybe they were short staffed this day. The place is great for parties as they have a nice patio.

Update: Recently visited for breakfast. Really good pancakes, perfectly grilled, not too thick, not doughy, wonderful flavor. We also had the biscuits and gravy. The scrambled eggs were buttery, fluffy, nice flavor. The sausage gravy was tasty, wish the gravy was thicker. Good prices, Good breakfast.
Prior review: The menu was limited due to COVID, although a fairly decent selection. The food was served on styrofoam plates, bowls and plastic silverware. We ordered the chicken wings with a side of green beans(had them before and liked them) and the shrimp basket. The chicken wings were huge, I could eat three of the six. They were meaty wings but they were breaded. The menu said crispy wings, didn’t know that meant breaded. The shrimp was lightly breaded, crispy and tasty, fries were good(crispy, salted right) and the food was served hot.
They offered a wide selection of tap beers with a menu that provided a brief, thorough description of each beer. We had a couple of Stout beers that tasted watered down.
The bartender Thomas was great, he was friendly, knew the beers, and although very busy he made sure we were taken care of.
All in all the food and beer was average. We’ve been here before and likely will go back only because there are very limited options when staying at the Argosy Hotel.

Visited on 10/15/32, taps were out, only bottled beer. Ordered boneless wings and nachos and it took at least 30 minutes to arrive, and they were not busy! Once it arrived, whatever nacho cheese we got (very little of) was cold. The wings were a step above cold, but definitely not warm.
Other than that, service was great!!!!

Stay away! I have profound hearing loss and because I didn’t hear someone, the manager accused me of being intoxicated, refused food and water, and had security ban me to my room. I found another woman who was also accused of being intoxicated by the same manager and was kicked out of the casino, but she didn’t have any alcohol.
