Probably the best Korean barbecue in the area and we tried the one in Atlanta. That’s why we knew about this place and I’m so glad this actually translated over state line because it doesn’t always.

Probably is top Korean bbq for us in the area and I am coming from Ktown Maryland too.

They were very quick to offer any refills as some places are skimpy and the food and the flavor are top-notch. The banchan and kimchi is legit and kimchi rice is still giving spicy not toned down. Their marinated meats are another level. Service was top notch ajumma, don’t you cook for yourself let me do it for you.

As for those who think that all Korean barbecues look and taste the same, just take note of how fresh the meat taste and the type of meat you’re getting. For me I can taste right away how long the meat has been sitting around, that fridge air flavoring, just iykyk. No shortcuts taken here and it’s top tier for me.

The tapas style unlimited plates of a variety of dishes from American, Mexican, Indian, Thai, Japanese are delicious and portions just right. The pizzas superb, my favorite is the Funghi Pizza, Steak on a skewer, Tuna tartar, Scallops, Papaya salad, Street corn, roasted Brussel sprouts.

All the desserts, which are included in the reasonably priced $28/pp are excellent.

Been going back taking friends and visitors! They’ve all enjoyed the gastronomic experience.

I decided to give “9292” a try for a Korean BBQ experience in Annandale, Virginia. I’ve been to several Korean BBQ spots where you cook the meat yourself, so I’m basing this review on those past experiences.

The Good:
Portion sizes were generous, and they brought out a wide variety of side dishes to snack on while the meat cooked. One standout was the cheesy corn, which sizzles on the side of the grill—super tasty. The rice paired nicely with the meats, and the salad had a flavorful kick that added to the overall meal.

The Not-So-Good:
Some menu items were unavailable, but we weren’t told until after choosing the $39.99 option instead of the $34.99. Not a huge issue, but it would’ve been nice to know in advance.
We tried the onion garlic marinated chicken and the shrimp—neither really impressed. However, the marinated prime beef and beef bulgogi were both excellent—full of flavor and cooked up beautifully.
The scissors provided were extremely dull, which made cutting raw meat a struggle. Also, if you’re planning a date night or hoping for an intimate dinner, be aware: the music was loud, and the smoke vent hangs right in front of you, making conversation a bit tricky. Plus, since someone has to be actively grilling most of the time, it’s not exactly a laid-back, chatty dinner.

We came with a larger soccer group and they accommodate us very well. We made reservations! Food was fantastic and service was excellent. Great group activity, our soccer team had a blast!

We finally visited 9292 Korean BBQ for a family dinner ️ something we had been planning for a long time. It was the four of us: my husband and I, my sister, and her husband. Since we all love Korean food, we decided to order their mixed platter with beef and chicken.

Honestly, it’s hard to put into words how fresh and flavorful the food was! The meat was perfectly marinated, tender, and full of taste. And the portion size? Way bigger than we expected. This platter can easily serve six people, but the four of us still ended up over-eating ,that’s how good it was!

We also ordered two bottles of soju, which paired perfectly with the food and made our evening even more enjoyable. Good food, great company, and endless conversations ❤️ it turned out to be the perfect family night.

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Korean BBQ with generous portions and a great vibe.

DROP what you’re doing and GO HERE NOW!!!! The wait is OVER!!! This place goes ABOVE and BEYOND the second you walk in and make sure you ask for David!! Literally the best of the best. So attentive and kind. You’ll feel like you’re getting first-class treatment. After a really sour experience at Honey Pig (another Korean spot), my family came here on a whim… and BABY we were blown away!! They gave us special menu items they normally only serve at select times but made an exception just for us. David really advocated for us the whole time, and even the owner came through! She got us seated immediately and was so warm. It felt like we were visiting family, not a restaurant. They even gave us ice cream for free!!!! At the end of service!!!!

Food? GOOD. Prices? Lower than most Korean BBQ spots. Gratuity is included but nothing crazy. They refill all the side dishes without hesitation, and yes they cut the meat for you!!

Y’all PLEASE give them a shot before anywhere else. You will NOT regret it. And ask for David! They also have a bar section so it’s perfect for date night too!

The BBQ here was amazing! The portions were huge — we were two couples and ordered the 4-person set plus some cold noodles, and we still couldn’t finish it all. Ended up taking leftovers home! The Korean knife-cut noodles were super tasty too Highly recommend!

My family and i usually come here and have always enjoyed the food and service, but my recent visit was disappointing. I found a dirty utensil on my table, and it really turned me off. I even took a picture of it because it’s something I didn’t expect from a place I visit often.

I still like the food, but I hope the staff pays more attention to cleanliness. It’s important to make sure everything is properly washed and checked before being served.

9292 is still one of the best KBBQs in the area! Extremely attentive staff, clean and organized dining area, and fun eating experience with amazingly tasty food!

Unlimited Option B was worth the extra $5! ⚡We pretty much had everything on that menu and enjoyed all the dishes and sides! Parking can be tough during peak times, but it’s worth it! Thanks again for the wonderful dining experience and looking forward to next time!

I’ve been to various Korean BBQ restaurants in the area, and this one is quite decent. The food here is good, and they offer a great selection of meat options. The side dishes are also delicious and complement the main course quite well. To top it off, they offer ice cream bars at the end of the meal, which is a nice touch. However, the service could be improved. Our grill pan kept burning during our visit, and it took some time for the server to replace it. Our server was busy with other tables simultaneously, and a staff shortage was apparent. This place has a high ceiling with vents, but we still smell like BBQ, especially with the grill pan issue this time.
