Passed by so many times and finally got to try their food~~ Drunken Noodle with Chicken was AWESOME!! All the ingredients were perfectly made and fresh – got a little chat with the really sweet lady owner and apparently she specifically travels to Queens NY to get the fresh ones.

The price is extremely student-friendly which is rare in this economy, and the portion is generous.

It is not hard to tell why this gem is a neighborhood restaurant that serves the students, the workers and the residents for so many years.

Definitely recommend anyone and everyone

This is a good lunch spot in Center Newark area. Their dishes are pretty tasty, at least the thai basil sauce that I tried. It was a really good mix of vegetables, peppers, chicken and basil sauce, a good portion of rice with it too.

The chicken wings looked tasty too, though I didn’t get to try it. I tried Pad thai, was little disappointed. Not the type of taste I expect from pad thai.

The restaurant has sitting spots upstairs, but its not in the best shape. Better if you do just do take out. But they are really kind to bring your order upstairs, if you dine in.

Food was OK. There is a 4% fees for CC transaction, which I can understand. I decided to pay with cash. I gave a $20 bill but the change was a few dollars short. When asked, he said they do not have change. I then asked to pay with CC instead. Even with tax and CC fees, I was still over charged.
When asked again, he said the price has increased. I looked online and their paper menu before ordering. The prices were the same, lower than what I was charged.
Bottomline, a bit dishonest about their prices. Will not go back again.

I usually get delivery from this place. I love that I can add a comment/note about the level of spiciness to the order and they will make my food Thai street-style spicy! I’ve dined in once and they have good number of seatings inside and upstairs.

I ordered Pad See Ew, but what I received was far from it. This is not flat noodles, and it was missing the essential flavors and ingredients that make Pad See Ew so delicious. It was disappointing, especially since I was looking forward to an authentic experience. I hope the restaurant can improve on quality and consistency for future orders. 🙁

I ordered the crab fried rice. Huge disappointment due to the lack of crab meat. They placed very little crumbs of crab meat on the top but underneath it was just rice 🙁 Will not be ordering from them again

Service was amazing, the lady was incredibly kind and friendly. I ordered the pineapple fried rice which was delicious to the max. I was expecting it to be served inside a pineapple but they surprised me with a heart shaped design instead. Fried tofu was a bit bland but i understand why they added a sauce on the side. Thai ice tea was really good too. Definitely recommend this nice littlr whole in a wall restaurant.

Great hidden spot in Newark. Small inside but can seat about 10-14 people. Food was fresh and delicious. Not salty at all and their customer service is awesome. Definitely will return.

This place is very close to my school so I go here often to have lunch with my friends. It’s a small place but the food is always warm and pleasant! I’m always hungry so I don’t take pictures most of the time 😀 But this time I made sure I did. We ordered Tom Yum Fried Rice and Thai Suki Yaki (Thai style glass noodles with chicken, shrimp and egg). The soup was soo flavorful and all the things in it went so well with the soup! The rice was a mixture of tangy, sweet and spicy. I’ve also had a lot of other things on the menu and they’re all pretty good.
