For my main, I got the lobster and truffle carbonara. It was UNREAL. My mouth is still watering. When the server told me it was the chefs favorite, I knew I had to try it! I’m a dirty martini connoisseur and this was perfect. Cold and smooth with bleu cheese stuffed olives. If you’re looking for an elevated dining experience in West Chester, this is definitely the spot.
Beautiful decor and music, it was truly a special night.
Atmosphere and the space are way better than they have any right to be. Really enjoyed the Bass Clarinet / Piano duet they had playing and the reimagined retro bank space.
The salads were great, especially enjoyed the crisp pork cubes on the BLT. The steak was not great and the spinach didn’t have much flavor. The cheesecake was to die for. Cocktails were good not great. Our server, Justin, was fantastic, attentive friendly and helpful.
The service was excellent from start to finish — attentive, professional, and made the night feel special.
That said, it is very expensive. This is definitely not an everyday dinner spot. It’s more of a place you go for a very, very special occasion when you’re ready to splurge.
Overall, great food and great service — just be prepared for the price tag.
The chairs were super comfortable, the lighting perfect, and the atmosphere is something of its very own.
For starters we had the pork belly, calamari, and octopus. The calamari was splendid as was the pork belly, the octopus had a surprisingly soft texture and was not chewy like I was accustomed to.
Entrees were the dry aged Kentucky bone in strip as well as the 4oz wagyu beef with scallops and grilled shrimp. Both Kentucky steaks were heavily salted and the wagyu honestly tasted like butter. The main downside (in my opinion) everything was heavily charred. I felt like I ran my tongue over a grill that is how strong the char taste was on really everything.
I really appreciated how seriously the restaurant took food intolerance and allergies. It did make me sad that if you cannot eat chocolate there is rather limited options for dessert, and even more limitations due to lack of stock.
The price is high but the portions are generous for the starters and entrees.
I wouldn’t recommend the single scoop of icecream for 9$ that honestly felt excessive.
Overall we had a wonderful experience, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We especially loved the treat they presented my father for his birthday that made everything extra special.
