This restaurant has food safety issue.
I visited today(2/28) and ordered beef noodles for my kid. Unfortunately, there were visible dark green/black mold patches on the noodles. I showed this to the staff immediately.

Instead of acknowledging the issue or apologizing, the staff denied it and responded rudely. A $20 cash refund was given when I requested a refund. But I was then asked to calculate and return the exact change for $15.98+tax myself. The entire situation was handled unprofessionally and without any concern for food safety, especially it was served to a kid.

I found this place off of Google when searching for places to eat. It’s so hard to find Taiwanese cuisine in the suburbs without going to Chicago. Taiwan Cafe in Chicago has the largest selection of Taiwanese food and the food is delicious. Tugo Tea House has really good Taiwanese popcorn chicken but seating is limited. The International Mall in Westmont is missing a lot of signature Taiwanese dishes. That brings me to 9 Ball Taiwan Cafe in Aurora. It’s located where the whole Vivi’s bubble tea used to be, next to Park to Shop.

They have Taiwanese food as well as dim sum available. When you walk inside, there is plenty of seating. The seats are very comfortable. You can order from the kiosk or from the register. We ordered a side of popcorn chicken, fried tofu, and Taiwanese fried chicken cutlet bento. If you follow them on ig or FB, you get free scallion pancakes. The portions are very generous. Both of the fried chickens were very juicy and crispy. The scallion pancakes were soft but firm.. Fried tofu was good, make sure you eat it with the sauce. We didn’t get a chance to try any of the drinks but we will next time. Prices were fair. This is the closest Taiwanese spot to me, so I will definitely be back.

Got this as takeout and I’m Impressed. The chicken and scallion pancakes were still crispy when I got home. The drink was delicious and the portions were generous (way more food than the pictures make it look). Everything tasted great and hit the spot. Definitely ordering again.

A nice and cozy corner eatery to snack, drink and chat with friends. Their signature popcorn chicken was the highlight of our meal. The dark meat chicken was juicy and seasoned to perfection. I had the 3q milk tea and it was incredible! The boba was the perfect chewiness. I recommend ordering their combo meals!

This place might have the best boba in the Naperville area. Their boba is amazing. The flavors blend perfectly and their crispy popcorn chicken is juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The place has a nice design and it is very relaxing.

Clean and tidy. Food was about as expected but doesn’t stand out. I got the braised pork bento set which came with a triangle of fried tofu, some pickled radish, adequate rice, and two pieces bok choy. Pretty presentation, though.

I think this place’s food is really delicious! I ordered Popcorn Chicken and Black Pepper Bento, and both were very tasty. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. They also offer a variety of Taiwanese snacks, but I feel it’s a bit mixed with Cantonese dim sum, which makes the concept a little unclear.

I hope they can focus more on authentic Taiwanese snacks, similar to Munchies Plus in Downtown. Although Munchies Plus is more expensive and not enough meat and vegetables, the flavors are very authentic. I think this place’s prices are just right, and if they could take inspiration from Munchies Plus to offer more genuine Taiwanese snacks, it would be great. I also really like the decor, with signs featuring different cities in Taiwan—it looks beautiful.

Overall, the two dishes I’ve tried so far are very satisfying and delicious!

Service is excellent – greeted walking in and given the option to order at the counter or be served table side. You can order via QR at the table or your order can be taken. Gentlemen working today are so kind and don’t speed through taking the order. They’re friendly. Food is excellent and served fresh. Soup dumplings are made upon order. Fried chicken bao is excellent – so delicious I couldn’t get a photo. Consumed too fast! Music was just right – playlist and volume. The combo box is a very good size – can easily be shared by two people. Boba is great.

I came here on a Wednesday night. It wasn’t super busy but the staff were so welcoming. The prices for quality of the food for the area is so good. The soup dumplings really surprised me in terms of quality. I was very impressed with how nice the man at the front of house was. The atmosphere is very cute as well. Highlights were definitely the popcorn chicken and pork soup dumplings. The boba with the bento deal is great also. The bubble tea is fireeee. So yummy and cost effective. Overall 5/5.

I lived in Taipei for 3-years and 9 Bar brought me back to one of my favorites cities in the world!

The braised pork has fresh thick and juicy pieces of meat with a light sauce that goes smoothly with the rice and egg.

Also, the quality of the interior of the store and even their bags are amazing!
