Had the pleasure of eating at this little gem yesterday! Would definitely come back again. The family that owns it is so sweet & made some killer food. I had their tacos which were delicious & he makes his own salsa. The cook even brought out strawberries to my youngest son with powdered sugar on them. They all interacted with us it was a good time.

Gave it a 4-star rating only because it was a little on the pricey side (but not too bad either). Though, I have to say the hamburger there was killer! Full of flavor, juicy, and fresh ingredients! Perfect size too! Outdoor area is real cozy as far as atmosphere-wise goes-they have a humongous stone table you can sit at and visit with family and friends.

This restaurant blows away the rest! It is not TINY and DIRTY- don’t know what this other reviewer is talking about, it may be small but it is not dirty! The other restaurant in town (American Diner) turned me down for service 20 minutes before their closing time and didn’t let me eat there. Went to 8th St Grill and they were happy to seat me and serve me. The food was fresh and delicious- I got a Philadelphia Cheese Steak, about a pound of meat for less than $8 with fries- made with prime rib- on a scale of 1 to 10 its a 12! Sincerely, a Lakeside resident.

Stopped in for lunch after hearing such great things about the place and was met with terrible service from the owner herself, “Miss Ashley”. She gave myself and my boyfriend one menu to look over, which contained about 6 burger choices for lunch with no exceptions. I decided we would give it a chance and the burgers were pretty good flavored but the owner was very rude never asking once if the meal was okay and taking forever to get the check even though we were the only ones there… not going back for more bad service.

BEST FOOD around! Burgers are out of this world! I had the bacon Jan burger and my husband had the mexMexi Philly cheese steak and our 15month old daughter had the cheese quesadilla we all devoured it! Definitely coming back and prices are very responsible!

Omg I am so full I wish the food wasn’t so good I couldn’t stop. The portions are huge. The food is amazing and way under local price. We found this place from Roseburg and we will be coming back. Service is great. 5 street tacos for under $10 Wow. The Lasagna is huge check out the specials. If you eat somewhere else in town that’s your fault I told you where is best.

Love this place! I’ve eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All meals were excellent! The food quality superb, the service friendly and doting, the chef awesome. I don’t know where a couple of these reviewers ate, it wasn’t here! They must’ve gone to the frumpy place down the street.
We live in Lakeside and take all of our guests here for a meal during their stay and hope they stay in business for a long, long time.
Maybe move to the larger restaurant available in town!!

Always great food! Miss Ashley is always happy to see us and takes care of us, even when we showed up 15 minutes before closing. It’s one of this places you cream let them decide what to feed you, because you know it’s always delicious.

This dude can cook!!! My kids loved the chicken quesadilla. It was huge, full of chicken and cheese and cooked to perfection with a light golden brown crispy crust. I had the homemade chicken strips at the chefs suggestion…. glad I listened! And my husband had the special Surf and Turf. Sooooo good my kids and I were all asking for more tastes of his tri tip.
