Pros: chicken was juicy & not dry, breading stuck to the chicken well, liked the sesame seeds incorporated into the breading, good sauce selections
Cons: the wait time at 2pm was atrocious, the chicken sandwhich was slightly underseasoned
Recommend the chicken strips over the sandwhich
We arrived at 1:40pm and ordered one sandwich and a few tenders. We were told the wait would be 20-25 minutes. We didnt receive our food until 2:45, so just over an hour wait. This was basically 3x the wait time we were originally told when we ordered.
My advice would be to skip this place if you’re in a hurry or plan to sit and wait for a while. Others appeared to be waiting for a long time as well.

At Jesse’s kind direction, I found this wonderful fried chicken joint that always satisfies. Lots of sauce variety and the chicken (so flavorful!) is most always tender and delicious. Thank you for the heads-up and the sloppy, sensational, saucey salads and sandwiches! Highly recommend!

Food was delicious! Chicken was super juicy and flavorful. We got a few of the chicken sandwiches and they were all super good. Waited about 15 minutes to get the food. They did change the fries it looks like so they’re the shoestring fries instead of waffle but they were seasoned and I thought they were awesome. View is basically just the straight but the food is great. Would recommend

I’m seriously so pissed I moved to Port Angeles and immediately found some food place to be obsessed with. But when the chicken is so hot and juicy and the menu simple but cultured…I have no CHOICE. I keep telling myself I’ll stop going once a week because this is the age of SAVING, but these sandwiches call to me. So far I’ve loved every business that has inhabited 8th Street Chicken’s location over years of visiting, but I hope they stay. Very polite and professional staff, and they’re all a bunch of cuties.

We ordered the NOLA sandwich and the C.B.R. salad. Both were very flavorful and delicious. I loved how crispy the breading of the chicken was, and the homemade ranch was superb. The fries were well-seasoned and crunchy. The sandwich was a good portion and very juicy. Would definitely come back when we’re in the area again.

OMG! Bomb.com. I want to use expletives but since this is a family show I’ll keep it PG-13. Chicken has a new name in Port Angeles and it’s called 8th Street Chicken. Another HIT from the owner’s of Graysons. Located close to the corner of 8th and Pine. Tried the CBR in both fried and grilled versions. Both were well made and had that crafted gourmet vibe. They were also HUGE! Waffle fries were outstanding and perfectly seasoned. The rude boy dipping sauce added another glorious dimension to the meal. Service took about 20 mins but the food was extremely fresh. If I was a chicken I wouldn’t mind being turned into one of their creations. The absolute best chicken sammies in town!!! Recommend!!!!

Great casual spot to grab a gnarly fried chicken sandwich! These are large, so I split with my husband and it was perfect – they were even kind enough to cut and wrap each portion. Staff were also super friendly (and very patient with my squirrelly toddler). And special shout out to their incredible herb seasoned shoestring fries – so good I had two.

Easily the best chicken sandwich i’ve had. I love a simple sandwich and the classic did not disappoint. The chicken portion in the sandwich itself was massive, super juicy throughout and the breading was soooo crispy. Well worth the price and the seasoned fries are perfectly crispy and thin (the best!!)

Finally stopped in for the first time today, and everything was wonderful! I was expecting basic, but they have a Super fun menu with unique and flavorful options! I got the Bangkok Bird with the fried thigh and OMG! Best chicken sandwich EVER!!!! So tender and crisp but juicy?! How can it be that perfect?! Picky kids DEVOURED the popcorn chicken and all the dipping sauces! Customer service was top notch, super helpful, and friendly! Can’t wait to go back!
