First time visiting 8 elements and really appreciate the professionalism and politeness of the staff. Food was good and most importantly I have to not wait long for my main course. I loved samosa chaat and its green chutney.

Went for lunch and found the buffet. The buffet was super yummy. A lot of vegetarian options. Something everyone should try on a weekend. All the item choices are good and flavorful. The rose milk was so good.
A hidden gem of the bay area for Indian food. It’s very unassuming with yummy Indian food, be it south Indian or north Indian. Their spicy peach cocktail is a must.

Vada sambar was fresh, crispy and hot. Right amount of sambar and chutneys. Goat curry was exquisite and the meat was tender. Plain naan and garlic naan were good. Felt the gobi manchurian was on the sweeter side with lot of tomato sauce. Enjoyed the fried rice also. Overall good experience and prices are very reasonable.

The food is good BUT if you have a peanut allergy or allergies be careful. We double checked with the waitress to make sure there were no peanuts in our dishes when we ordered but our dosa dishes had a chutney with peanuts which we realized only when eating. The waitress told us she forgot after we asked and she confirmed there were peanuts—but that’s pretty inexcusable at a restaurant. We thankfully did not eat much, but left early feeling sick and felt the staff didn’t care much.

“So I ordered a dosa, and as usual, it came with sambar. I noticed something odd, so I took a picture. If you look closely at the corner of the aluminum foil, you can actually see four tiny insects( mukka purugu in telugu language). I only found four, and after that, I didn’t even want to check further. All I did was dip my finger into the sambar and move it to the side, and that’s when I saw them. I’ve attached the picture for reference.”

We visited here during the lunch hour after a few years due to the pandemic. They opened around 11:30 and we were one of the few to get in first. Pretty much had the place for ourselves. The folks there were welcoming and we were seated very quickly.
We ordered a sweet corn soup, eggplant main dish and some wheat rotis. When the soup was just satisfactory, the eggplant dish and the wheat rotis were awesome. The potions are just sufficient for sharing family style between two people.
I recommend this place for its casual ambience, good service and tasty food.

Maybe we didn’t order the right things but our experience was just so-so compared to other peoples reviews.
The dosa was not as expected. The ones I’ve had in the past are crispy, this was soft and mushy, almost like a doughy burrito. And the chutney selections were just ok.
Paneer Makhni was supposed to be in a creamy tomato sauce but was not that creamy. Kind of watery. Similar situation with the Tikka Masala.
The best dish was the garlic naan. I wish I got more of that.

Wonderfully healthy buffet that has both south and north Indian cuisine. The buffet is one of the healthiest buffets I’ve ever had at an Indian restaurant in the Bay Area.

I saw this place on internet few weeks ago and wanted to go there ever since as the reviews were good. Also their menu had few dishes which I haven’t seen in many restaurants in Bay area. We went there at about 11 am hence the place was empty. So here is the thing, on my first visit to a new restaurant I usually order the most basic thing (Not too much of a risk and no money waste). So we ordered Masala Dosa, Uthappam, Fresh Orange Juice and South Indian filtered coffee. Both our dishes were yummy, well cooked and well presented. The place looked hygienic however I want to visit during peek hour that is when the real test is. Orange juice and filter coffee was really good too. I am definitely going to go there again and try few other dishes.
