This carryout is close to my job so I’ve been several times over the last 15 years. I love the Cajun chicken salad. It’s so good, I am willing to make 40 minute ride from my house to go and pick one up on my day off! I recently decided to get something other than the salad or pizza that I normally get, and tried the shrimp cheese steak sub. OMGoodness it was so, so, good!!

This use to be me and my wife spot. We called it the whole in the wall. Whenever we did not feel like cooking we got something from here because the location is convenient. My wife loves the chicken cheesesteaks. That was until she bit in to a bread tie inside her sub. We know mistakes could happen so we called and spoke to a female who stated she would refund us for the sub because they couldn’t make another one because the store was closing. Cool. Next week we decided to order delivery and use the money that would be refunded ($11). We ordered $30 worth of food and wanted to use the refund but the Manager said it was a no go and we couldn’t do that . We had to pay full price. He wasn’t trying to hear anything about last week and wasn’t trying to refund the full $11 and suggested $6 . We immediately went to the store to get our refund of $11. His attitude was ridiculous. Luckily the girl from last week wrote my wife name and refund amount down and stuck it on the wall or he would have tried to give us $6. This review isn’t about the money but the customer service from one staff member that made us decide to never patronize this business again. We were willing to still patronize this business after a bread tie was found but because of bad customer service never again. ✌

The shrimp cheesesteak is to die for, literally the best in the area in my opinion because they use jumbo shrimp. I also love their cajun chicken and shrimp salad as well as the garlic Parmesan wings. I only have two complaints. 1) Their freezers that store the uncooked food are outside behind a gate and I’m sureeee they have rodent issues as I used to live around here. It doesn’t seem like a sanitary place to keep food. 2) The prices are different, higher and higher each time I go. They do use decent sized shrimp but I can’t see that justifying a $20 sub.

I think because when I called on August 4th.2023 at around 5:15pm. and the phone was busy and keep saying to call back, they need to have a online ordering so that you can order that way also when the phone is so busy.

I called to place an online order and was told to not call back or they’ll call the police even though they close at 10:30 online even though the menu says 11 (an hour after I called). The food was good but honestly not worth it to be yelled at by the employee for some fast food. How can you not have fast food ready in an hour!!! What a mess!

895 Grill is the BEST sub shop in the Brooklyn Park area. I order a lot of times (3-4)) times a week. Prices are good and you get food just the way you want it. Delivery drivers are very nice and always thanks me when I tip them. 895 Grill is my go to sub shop. Thank you, Judy

This has been our go-to spot for YEARS! The pizza is awesome, and the cheesesteaks are filling and tasty. Tons of food for the price, and still cheaper and better than chain establishments. My brother got us hooked on shrimp cheesesteaks a long time ago, we keep coming back. Location isn’t great, but I’ve never felt unsafe going in for pickup either.
